While passing through the area on a cold, rainy day I heard about Blue Mountains Sauna from another traveler and decided to check it out as my first authentic Finnish sauna and cold plunge.The experience far exceeded my expectations and turned a gloomy day into a very warm one, figuratively and literally.The space is beautifully curated with live plants, a mixture of warm and natural lighting, wooden furniture and detailing, and a cozy wood burning stove.Staff was knowledgable, welcoming, and more than happy to answer questions and make the experience as enjoyable as possible. Both Inga and Nikita were absolutely lovely and hospitable hosts. It is clear that they have high standards for the service they're providing and are totally nailing it.The time I spent there truly turned my day around for the better and opened my eyes to a new way of healing and I appreciate that so much!They also provide free hot tea and apples.. who doesn't love free hot tea and apples?!You will leave feeling lighter, refreshed, and excited to come back. INCREDIBLE!My body loved the extremes of the 90 degree Sauna and the 3 degree ice plunge pool. The outdoor deck with the fire pit and classic blue mountains views added to the full sensory experience. The smell of smoke, warmth of fire, sound of birdsong, taste of delicious herbal tea and mountain views...I left feeling grounded, embodied, joyful and at peace.I will make the regular trip from Sydney for this.

This is such a beautiful sauna. Everything is very thoughtful, with fresh fruit and tea provided, an outdoor space to relax, a combustion stove to relax next to inside. The sauna is hot! And sauna etiquette is clearly explained, which is very important for developing an appreciation for sauna culture. By far the best sauna I’ve been to in Australia.

It has been almost a year since this lovely place was opened in the Blue Mountains and I had been keen to visit it, and the perfect occasion just came during a winter long weekend relaxed birthday celebration! It was exactly what I needed!The place has a super peaceful vibe, their staff are super friendly and relaxed, and even the other patrons weresuper chill and respectful. The premises are extremely clean, decorated with a nice style I couldnt accurately describe hehe... because they managed to mix modern with vintage, and simple without looking cheap, they definitely paid a lot of attention to every detail, it is definitely a cozy and very inviting place.I think the price for 2 hours is more than reasonable. You can also rent robe from them but I definitely recommend you to bring your own one, one you love, so you feel even more at home! And do not miss the chance of having a cup of one of the tea varieties they offer during your visit, seating in their ourdoors area. I visited them just before lunch, but I can imagine how lovely it would be to enjoy it while getting dark with the fire on.Well done guys! Glad to hear you are already planning to grow. Love love love Blue Mountains Sauna! As a massage therapist, I tell all my clients to go here. I come to the sauna for my own self care after a long day at work. It’s the perfect mid week unwind, or part of a self care weekend. The facilities are immaculate, the staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Thank you BMsauna! I had my hens ‘not hens’ morning with my mother and sister here this weekend, we were all so excited and really enjoyed a wonderful morning and experience together! The staff were wonderful, helping us book in, providing information on the sauna and cold plunge experience which we all enjoyed so much!The space is beautiful and so welcoming and cosy, we found the whole session really wonderful and we were able to share moments with other people during our session time that gave us a real sense of a comfortable and safe communal space.The cold plunge was daunting at first but exhilarating! And while we may not have lasted as long as we liked, we all surprised ourselves by doing it (several times!) and could really feel the positive effects going from the sauna to the plunge.The sauna room itself is really beautiful and well crafted. A landscape window on one side brings in a lot of natural light and the space does not feel claustrophobic at all, quite the opposite.I will definitely be back and thank you again for such a positive and wonderful experience!

A beautiful 3 hour sauna, cold plunge and yoga experience. We’ve been looking for a place like this in Sydney after enjoying similar experiences elsewhere. The team is incredibly lovely. The only concerns I had was with the slight murkiness of the cold plunge pool after a couple of uses between 9 people and one of the women’s toilet needed a scrub. Other than that these guys are up to something great!
