Little Blue Lake
A worthwhile stop to take in the unusual colouring of the lake. Created from an old open cut tin mine, now filled with water. Nature has turned the water acidic, so swimming is out of the question.

Well worth a short stop, amazing and unique coloured lake. Suitable stop for all ages, car park right at the lookout.

Such a stunning spot! It's just off the road and there are plenty of places to park. You can walk up a bit to see the stunning lake from different angles but there aren't bins and some areas have no fence/barrier so be mindful of rubbish and your safety. Not allowed to swim in the lake due to the minerals and metals in the water, but boy it's beautiful. Definitely stop by if you're travelling around the area!

amazing placedon't blink...otherwise, you will miss the entranceplaces are not signed well in Tassie, in general, signs are two steps before the entrance not giving you time to turn, you may need to turn around

Little Blue Lake
Located in the north east part of Tasmania, this man made little blue lake is quite pretty. Not a recommended swim site due to the high aluminium content in the water it sure does make for great photos. There isn't very much to do around the area but bring some food and enjoy a nice rest stop with a view. Take the dirt road around to the left to the end and walk to the edge for a better view of the lake. Careful of soft edges which can create trip/slip hazards!
