Brads Butchery Ballina

Bought some beef spare ribs for the smoker and they were all separated… 2 of the 4 bigger ones cooked somewhat ok but the other 2 smaller ones were tough asCooked at 225F for 8hrsMost butchers when you buy the ribs will come uncut in 4ish ribs…maybe do the same?

After years of patronage at this business, I bid them n their poor attitudes farewell. We spend at least $150 a week here. Yesterday $110. Lamb cutlets over $45 worth, tasteless been watered down, huge n crumbs were rank. Better butchers elsewhere with lovely smiles n great meats.

I wish i could give Zero Stars.Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been shopping from these guys from over a year now.I’m the kind of person who will always support local businesses. But today they treated me as if i live in a cave and don’t know what’s been happening lately. I was shocked to see how the owner reacted when I confronted him for the sudden change in price. He was rude and talked to me in a very egotistic behaviour. I’ve just realised i was paying way too much for beef while the other butchers in the area have a far more reasonable prices and they respect their customers. This shops charges $20/kg for diced beef while the other butchers charge $13/kg for the same quality. What a pathetic way to treat your local and loyal customer.

Great, thier meat is always fantastic we love shopping here, and always go there on our way home. The variety of meats a nd cuts is just great.

Love the selection of meat for humans and dogs! Would rate 5 stars if the woman at the cashier was at least a little bit friendly and helpful. Don't ask her any questions otherwise you feel like you are bothering her.The guys are all really nice and helpful!

Paula and the meat boys at Brad's Butchery is my go to place for fresh, delicious lovingly prepated meat. The BEST ham I've ever tasted. Its always a pleasure to shop.

Meat great quality, and friendly, helpful butchers . However the woman cashier has zero customer service skills and is so unfriendly and rude. Dosen't even look at you , let alone engage, horrible customer service, she's a liability. I wanted to support this small business, however this is the 3rd time and she is always the same, heard this from others as well. Crack a smile it costs nothing.So bad for business.

As a Coeliac, this place is a blessing. All their meat is Gluten Free and of high quality. We drive from Lennox Head to West Ballina for our meat. This place is nearly as good as Andrews in Wangaratta but lacks selection in certain areas (Rissoles) but I will happily give this butchery a 5 star rating.

Best butcher in Ballina. Fabulous array of all manner of meats. Sausages, roasts, mince etc, etc. Most of it is sourced locally. Also some wonderful spreads and other accoutrements. Super friendly staff. Great prices. Yen out of ten.
