Rivergum Holiday Park

Phoned to enquire about an annual for sale, felt like i would be a disturbance as i dialed the number but to my astonishment i got a warm and very helpful reception and told they were busy but we are here to help.

Check in :*Office very humid and stuffy, no air conditioning on for guest arrival, not even a fan. When I stated it was muggy Eleisha argued the point with me stating it wasn't hot and it's just you that's hot from travelling." Rude.*I then stated to her that I didn't want the credit card that I used as deposit to be used as any further payment

Great place, Lush grass from your caravan, toilets and showers great too. Owner told wife to pay when we leave, incase you stay longer. Thanks for the lovely stay. Will be back again.

Just had 3 days as a guest in caravan. The drive through site was particularly delightful. Permanents were friendly. Great location. The downside was grass was covered in burrs which got into our dogs fur.

Stayed for a few nights in our van.Park managers were extremely accommodating with us and very nice.Can’t wait to get back Australia Day weekend to support the locals after the floods.

Not good at all. The cabin we stayed in could have come straight from 1950, and it seemed to not have been maintained since. The oven and grill were still covered in old food from the previous residents, there were old pretzels under the mattresses in one room, and the cobwebs outside on the outdoor furniture were thick. The sewage/septic tank behind a cabin was left wide open for us all to enjoy as well. Definitely cannot recommend and will not be coming back. The staff were very nice and there was availability during the holiday period, which was nice, but now clear as to why.The difference between cabins is incredibly different whilst the descriptions portray little difference. Ensure you get what you need.

We had our own caravan , so at check-in, we found the staff to be just lovely, helpful, and very friendly. There is great info at the reception office, and the lovely ladies I dealt with were very knowledgeable.The park has a lovely bush like setting, with heaps of animals and birds... Many are quite use to human presence! It's a great setting. Nature abounds, and we loved this!The park is a few kilometres from the city centre, a good walk or an easy ride on a bike. Otherwise you need to drive due to distance. A point to note is that Corowa is all fairly flat, so walking/riding is not a challenge.The presentation of the park needs a little face lift, and some of the annual/permanent lived-in properties are in need of some TLC and do bring down the overall presentation of the park.The amenities block near the back of the park was lovely. Very nicely presented and had been updated and was clean. There was also a very conveniently located dump" point for caravaners near the amenities block. Loved also that there is music/radio on in the toilet block! Just these little things make a nice difference."

Understand that the park was flood affected the month before we arrived. However there appeared to be a lack of maintenance happening. There was visible long grass around slabs and high weeds in garden beds which had been growing for several months. There was a branch lying across the road which we shifted to get through. I was disappointed that I had to empty our cassette into toilet in amenities block due to there being no black water disposal site. It's unpleasant for fellow campers to see people disposing of cassette waste in amenities blocks..not to mention using the tap at your caravan to rinse out the cassette. It would perhaps be a good idea to invest in setting up a dump point in future, most caravans these days are equipped with toilets which need emptying.

A lovely welcome from the lady in reception who gave us all the info we required. Facilities very clean. Unfortunately no dump point for cassette except into toilets in amenities. We used dump point in town at Rowing club. There was truck noise from nearby highway. But otherwise park very quiet. Maintainence does need to be done in park.. cutting of long grass and getting rid of weeds. It does have a neglected look and feel about it.
