What a fantastic experience I had when I bought a washing machine here last week. I looked at machines in the morning and every question I asked was answered. I returned home to check the price and reviews on the net and when I returned to the store a little later they immediately matched the net price. For $25 they agreed to take away the old machine and install the new one. By 4 o'clock that same day I did my first load of washing. What fabulous service - efficient, polite and nothing was too much trouble. I love it when I can buy locally.

Approached Betta Mansfield to discuss replacement refrigerators for our ski club. Initial service was very friendly and helpful. Following the discussion, two appliances were decided upon. As part of the discussion and highlighting of specifics re installation, precise dimensioned drawings were lodged with the sales staff and the requirements as shown on the drawings were discussed in some detail which included issues of building access with stairs and manhandling and requirement for unit door swing handing as clearly shown on the drawings.Betta provided an emailed quotation which was assumed without further thought to be based upon the pre-quotation briefing.On return from Mt Buller several days after the initial quotation briefing, the emailed quotation was accepted in person at Betta Mansfield.To cut to the chase, issues re availability were made known to us and advised and considerable delay was forecast by Betta for one of the two units ordered.Upon telephoned advice some six or so weeks later that the units had arrived and could be delivered , our organisation committed to full payment. Upon meeting with Betta to make the payment, it was revealed that only one unit was in fact available. It was also made clear that no allowance had been made for two deliveries seeing as only one was then available and further, that there was no allowance for two delivery personnel. This we had on initial discussion specifically referred to. Reluctantly the additional charge was accepted and covered. When delivery was scheduled, it was then notified that the unit's door swing was incorrect for the positioning as documented on the provided drawing as lodged at the time of ordering. A further fee was demanded.Betta would not accept any liability whatsoever for poor quoting and omissions in the initial quotation, suggesting it was the buyers responsibility to check that everything was covered.Whilst, this may technically be true, we assert however that in thecontext of the effort made to cover everything at pre-quotation , complete with accurate dimensioned documentation at the time of ordering, we were entitled to assume that the quotation covered all that was briefed. The vendor's approach furthermore, when challenged on this issue was essentially, take it or leave it! Go somewhere else if not satisfied. Were it not for the significant time delay in obtaining the units ,we may well have taken the advice.Buyer beware!

I was so impressed with the service. I needed an aid for someone coming home from hospital. Betta in Mansfield was click and collect so I was not able to enter & look for the product. A very helpful store assistant quickly responded to my call, checked the stock and brought samples to the door - just what I needed. The whole procedure was accomplished in a very short time - and so cheerfully. Thanks - it was much appreciated.

Went to buy a television from the catalogue. This store don't stock the brand as they have had had too many returned, even though the company endorsed this product with a big tick. Staff were not helpful, rude and I will not spend a cent there after traveling for 50 minutes to be told no don't stock the brand then wouldn't match the price for a different brand with the same features of the tv I wanted to buy. Terrible service for a small town and it's surrounding communities.

Not only is the team at Mansfield Betta Home Living very knowledgeable about anything you need for your home (we’ve updated all our appliances), but they are also very honest, honorable and reliable. They take care to deliver promptly and keep to their schedule. Scott has been more than patient with my 89 year old mother in law and her new TV, personally going to her house a number of times to teach her about use of the remote, to replace cords, or anything else needed. Bill, Lauren, Scott and the crew go above and beyond and we would highly recommend :)
