Broome Medical Clinic

We were on holidays in Broome and we saw the lovely Dr Emma in under 30 mins. She was great with our baby.

Just travelling from NSW was able to get an appt on day of ringing up.Dr Laura Turner was really good and explained everything

Left waiting for an hour in reception, only 2 others waiting. Finally saw the doctor, this for my annual DVA check up. Thought I would ask for a bit of general check up as I've been travelling around Australia these past 3 years and I've been throwing up every morning for a couple of weeks now and I'd injured my back plus another medical condition I wanted addressed. Seemed reasonable enough, at the doctors, that's what they're for, right? Was told by the doctor to make another appointment to address these issues as he was booked out and obviously very busy?? Also the medical centre could not claim money for the appointment as it is covered by my DVA Pension. OK, went to the reception and was told that the next available appointment would be for the 30th (5th May when I'm there). Goodbye. Health professionals, yeah right.

Disabled pensioners travelling ...charge $85 for doctor to write a script..oh well no meds this week...
