Cheap as Chips Cleaning

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY WHATEVER YOU DO. I booked an end of lease clean for my father-in-laws home who passed hoping for a smooth experience, which was quoted approx $350, however on the day a cleaner (who could barely speak English) attended and advised $700 clean. I spoke with head office as I wasn’t satisfied, who confirmed the end of lease clean with extra carpet cleaning would be $480. The house had barely been touched when I went to inspect afterwards, they hadn’t even mopped or vacuumed the floor. I tried to address this issue with head office again and Peter (the manager/owner) just continued to be rude and a smart*** making jokes about you can’t pay for chicken and order a steak. Horrible horrible service full of lies do not go here!!!

I got my carpet cleaned and had a great experience. Phone call day prior to confirm, prompt arrival and great quality carpet clean. Can recommend Boon who looked after me.

The cleaning job was good, no problem there. However I was quote $590. Then on the phone they told my they will need to add gst which will make the overall cost $605, which I also agreed too. Once the payment was made over the phone I noticed on my bank statement they charged me $658!

AVOID. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR BOND BACK.It’s all in the name. Cheap cleaning, cheap results. I should have known better.We had an ‘end of lease clean’ at our 3 bedroom home which was requiring only a basic clean, not heavily soiled or trashed and were shocked with the incredibly poor level of cleaning that had been made with many areas not cleaned at all like around the light switches and kitchen cupboards. Our realestate agent even commented, post clean that it didn’t look like professional cleaners had been in yet….. the service costs us $450. We were also quoted $350 but were told on the day that to do the inside windows which were confirmed in the clean, it was going to be an ADDITIONAL $100.A re-visit was organised (unexpectedly pushing out our schedule) but the cleaner was in such a rush, having left her business partner back at another property that she spent less than 1hour at our property, whilst I was also there cleaning alongside her (with my 6mnth old baby in tow). I continued to kindly offer areas that needed cleaning, task after task but there was no attention to detail, missing areas mentioned to re-clean such as inside the pantry doors and draws.In total I have spent an additional 4+hrs of my own time (with baby in tow) RE-cleaning the areas that were CONFIRMED were included in our original clean such as spot cleaning walls, wiping out chemicals left in the oven as the cleaners “ran out of time”, wiping out kitchen draws, wiping the front of cupboards, mopping, wiping bedroom skirting boards in 2/3 bedrooms, wiping around light switches, wiping bench tops and the list could go on but I feel the photos attached to this review say enough.^All images are time and date stamped and were not taken pre-clean as we were accused of by ‘management’.Don’t rely on management to help out when your clean goes poorly, Cheap as Chips management are incredibly unprofessional, phoning me to ‘discuss’ but ended up accusing me of taking photos prior to the clean, talking over the conversation and hung up on me. I must confirm that I kept my cool and spoke respectfully throughout the conversation so was shocked to be hung up on.There are plenty of businesses out there to help with you clean and I WOULD NEVER use Cheap as Chips Cleaning again or recommend them to ANYONE.

Very happy with the carpet steam cleaning service I booked with Cheap as Chips Cleaning for my apartment.Bimsara arrived on timed and called me beforehand to check if there would be any issues with stairs and parking.Carpet looks and smells great and I would definitely recommend for end of lease carpet steam cleaning!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.After reading all the bad reviews they are all consistent with what had happened to my house, meaning all these reviews are probably true. My house mate was originally quoted $400 but for a 2 bed 1 bath unit, but then said $600 once they came. When my house mate told me the terrible job the did I came back and was appalled at the service did they even clean the house? Did a terrible job at cleaning and had to tell them to clean the toilet because they didn’t even touch it. Had written on the form that house was in good condition but continued to do little to no cleaning at all. The we’re streak marks on my stove and hair and pet hair on the floors the least I would expect is a clean hairless floor. Skirting boards still had marks and the bathroom still had stains same as the windows and walls. How is this acceptable for an end of lease clean!? It’s as if they had just wiped everything down with a wet wipe and pushed everything into the corners then called it a day. Also to add the came an hour late, when asked where they were at 2:00 they said 2:30 then 2:40 just lies and unreliable. Reviews show that the lady cleaners get the good reviews and the men get the bad ones. Maybe you should reconsider your male workers because they’re clearly doing a sh*t job. Now I have to clean the house all over again. Wouldn’t even call this a standard clean. What a waste of my money and time will be contacting head office to complain because this is just a disappointment.

I'd love to review the services, however can only review customer service as the cleaning was never performed.I had booked 4 rooms to be cleaned at 12, I had to hand mt key back that day and made the carpets the last thing done. I informed the woman taking my call that there was no power to the property. I was told that wasn't a problem, the truck coming had its own power source.The morning of, I recieve a call early in the morning from the technician that would be coming. He mentions my 1:00 booking (I correct him, it was 12) and that he wants to make sure I have power and water as he cannot operate without them.He has the office call me.They offer no explanation as to why I was told that as they do not even have such a truck. I explain that i have to hand my key back today and cant fix this. The staff member tells me there's nothing that can do. I abruptly cancel and hang up.I don't know if the problem is untrained staff, poor communication or laziness but I expect it is all of the above.

Roz has been very professional and on time with the service. Explaining the expectations before the job and after the job as well.Very good service. Will definitely recommend their cleaninng
