Big Rocking Horse

Quite a nice little place to take your family out & about. $2 dollars to enter into the gaint rocking horse, there are many ladders to advance up, and elevate down. So make sure to wear the right shoes, clean cafe, and even a tourist house to buy souvenirs.

Lovely place for kids and families to come. Cafe, clean toilets, souvenirs and wooden toys. Small petting zoo with kangaroos, wallabies, peacocks, emu, cockatoos, alpacas and goats.

Rocking Horse is a truly wonderful picnic place to visit with kids. The presence of a love park adds an extra touch of charm to the surroundings. The calm ambiance creates a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Additionally, having access to a toy factory adds excitement and entertainment for the children. The staff is incredibly friendly, ensuring a pleasant experience overall.

I am old enough to remember when this was being built and I have always wanted to climb it well, today I did. It is simply a big horse with ladders to climb but if you are anything like me then this is fun!This is a lo-tech place in that it does not have an electronic portion but it did have a peacock... The wooden toy factory is cute and I even bought a miniature of the horse because well, why not?

A true Australian icon, this place is rustic, rusty, and severely outdated. Which is part of its charm. Don't come here expecting a full day's adventure, or remarkable animals, or a once in a lifetime experience. Because it's not those things. But it is a wonderful little stop in in the hills, to have some lunch at the Cafe, or bring a picnic. Kids have ample space to run around. There are friendly animals who are gentle and good with the little ones (except the white alpaca). Climb the rocking horse for an amazing view and feeling of achievement (don't get high hopes about the certificates).It's a definite must stop if you're on that trail and spending a day in the Adelaide Hills!

The area is good to visit with kids. There is cafe with good offering for breakfast and lunch.There is toy world shop which sells wooden toys. Also, there is farm animal park which is good fit for kids.

Fun place for young and old. Have a picnic or buy food from the Cafe. Talk a walk and see the animals and Don't forget the giant rocking horse that you can climb.

Took the family out to their first time at the Big Rocking Horse at Gumeracha.For $2 per person gains access to climb to the top of the Rocking Horse.After that we went to the Cafe for lunch. Ordered a hamburger for Barbie and me, and the boys shared chicken nuggets and chips.Next stop was the wildlife park for $3 per person.Overall it’s good value and price for a family adventure.

It’s very good place for kids and family day out. U can enjoy with Australian native animals and wooden toy factory. There is very nice caffe as well u can sit and take way.
