I received my Heritage Panache Tiger and St Dominique Violette Fig cuttings in the post today and was thrilled to bits with how Sam packed them to withstand transit from Sydney to Canberra. I have just started collecting heritage fig trees because I want to help save the rarer trees as most nurseries only sell about four common varieties. I searched Australia wide to source St Dominique Violette and Sam was the only supplier that was able to offer me stock. The cuttings cost considerably more than common figs found in nurseries but the price reflects its rarity which I was fully prepared to pay. Sam is quick to reply to emails and ships the fig cuttings expeditiously. It has been a pleasure to deal with Samthefigman and I plan to order more rare fig cuttings as they become available.
