Managed to get a stunning weekend here with wild weather. Storms rolling in over the Prom with a glass of wine in hand, fire roaring away and rain on the roof. Will visit again

Extraordinary experience staying at Limrosa Rise cottage. Magnificent views looking through windows, beach,plants and trees make this place even more relaxant. Kangaroos walk change your mood after spending whole day at the beach. Friendly and professional customer service by owner,Marcus make this place more comfortable for guests.Highly recommended!!!!

The vistas from Stringybark Cottage are stunning however paying $370 per night, mid-week and not in peak season we feel everything should be fully functioning, spotless and if something right it is promptly attended too.We stayed 2 nights mid-week in April. On checking in we discovered there was no hot water in our ensuite. We contacted the owner who came straight way. He couldn't get the hot water working and kindly opened the second room in the cottage so we could use that ensuite where the hot water was working. We were very appreciative of this however we discovered that the second bathroom hadn't been properly cleaned.That night we also found the floor lamp in the main living area near the dining table not working correctly. It flashed consistently when switched on, which meant we there was no soft lighting.The next morning, we sent an SMS message to the owner highlighting both concerns requesting they be attended to while we were out that day. On returning late that afternoon we found both issues had not been attended to. As we were checking out the next day, we didn't see the point in following again.On checking out the next day we enquired if our SMS message had been received. Initially and the owner initially said no. When we pulled up the message to check the number the owner found our message and advised us he was driving at the time.Being a mid week booking, not during peak season and having paid for what is presented as 5-star accommodation we feel everything should be meticulous and if there are genuine concerns these should be attended to promptly.Our stay at Limosa was meant to be a special treat and celebration however we left feeling very disappointed with our stay particularly as this is inconsistent with reviews from others who have stayed.

Amazing views from the spacious cabin and a friendly owner. Spot animals from the deck, like kangagoes and wombat at sunset. Nice and dark at night to see the stars. A nice starting point if you're going to visit the parks.

Well-appointed cottages in a peaceful and well-positioned escape from the main trodden tourist paths while yet very close to The Prom’s popular main attraction.

What an awesome part of the world. Unrivalled views, peace and quite, animals in their own environment.The cottage feels quite spacious, is layed out and and very clean and the Owners at Reception are very friendly and helpful with suggestions of other local activities.Would highly recommend a visit to unwind.

It’s really s hidden gems near Wilsons Prom. It’s probably one of the highest price in the area but every dollar is worth it. The layout makes you feel you were the only one in the estate with clever arrangement. Very serene with great view. Attention to details in the house is fantastic. Everything just works without being overblown with unnecessary things. Host is super friendly and helpful.

Limosa Rise provides high quality self service accommodation cottages with excellent views. Cooking marshmallows over the fire whilst looking out at the Peninsula is a wonderful experience. Despite the accommodations being relatively close to each other, you feel a real sense of privacy in your own cottage. First class cooking amenities and kitchen. A great option for those seeking luxury accomodation within a 30 minute drive of the Mornington Peninsula.

We had a 4 night stay here and absolutely loved every minute. Marcus was a great and informative host, the view was incredible and the place itself was well appointed, cosy and comfortable.We were very sad to leave and have every intention of coming back.
