Go into store 9am morning of big Boxing day sale looking to buy an umbrella.The Lazy old guy takes a quick look only to inform me he only has 2 out of the 12 umbrellas in stock the rest will need to be ordered!How useless!

A disappointing experienceAnd whilst I know a receipt makes the world go aroundI attempted to return an item that didn’t work. Chicken scissor. That don’t cut chickenAlas I didn’t locate my receipt —I had expected when something doesn’t work that there is an obligation to deal with it fairly, as in “fit for purpose “under consumer legislationA pretty remote response was experienced. So I’d did the best thing possible and left them on the counter - . Left without satisfaction. And left with the intention of never going back there again.Interesting too as I work for a garden design and installation company And what do we find included in most gardens we create?? . Yep BBQs galoreCustomer service has to be more important than remembering every receipt in life and filing it for life’s many unplanned momentsChicken tonight anyone ??

Worst experience ever. After visiting the showroom we bought a Patio BBQ which was more than a month ago. BBQ came 2 weeks later than promised but usually we are quite tolerant about it these days, but what we are not tolerant with is the attitude of the delivery service. The product came in a big box being delivered by one person with no trolley. The driver threatened to dump the BBQ in the middle of the street if he didn't receive help carrying it in. My dad who was home to receive the BBQ is 80 years old and recovering from a recent heart attack. So with no other option he was coerced into caring a 50KG BBQ to the apartment. The poor experience didn't stop there. The BBQ needed to be put together, however this is really not a type of p[roduct that should be put together by a consumer as there are quite sharp unfinished edges that gave my dad quite a few lacerations trying to put together (Really redefines the phrase blood sweat and tears). BBQ galore should offer an installation service or at least recommend one. Hope this review helps someone ask the right questions and define the terms as not to be caught off guard, one thing is for sure, Never again.

Horrible customer service. Do not ever buy from Barbeques Galore. The main gas line deep inside our expensive Ziegler & Brown BBQ completely fell apart, leaking significant amounts of gas. Ziegler do not have a contact number and did not respond to a single email in four months. Barbecues Galore sent me on a wild goose chase between stores and online customer care before becoming completely unresponsive. They have not responded to a single email in over two months. It’s now been six months since I first contacted them. Horrible service, especially for a defective $6,000 product that should be recalled nationally.

I waited a week to finally get my new Barbecue. Start opening the box and getting ready to assemble in my living room. Get stuck on the first step of the instructions being unable to remove the rear drawer. On closer inspection, the drawer is jammed because base of the main unit is completely bent like someone’s dropped it. Now my living room is strewn with boxes and barbecue parts because I can’t put it back together and I have no idea how to pack it all back the way it came. Really disappointing experience. It’s a $1000 barbecue and I just wanted to get it sorted tonight and ready for the weekend. Wish I went to Harvey Norman.

I ordered a replacement grill plate for my dual burner Ziegler and Brown barbecue in July 2022. I was required to pay for the item in full when placing the order, since this was not an item that they usually stock. Several months later, the grill plate still hadn't arrived, and I was told this was due to delays in shipping caused by covid.The grill plate finally arrived in November, but I didn't realise until December, when I called them to inquire. I was told they called me once in November (true, when I checked my phone log), and a second time (untrue, since I checked my logs for any other call from them after the first).I'm not even upset that there was some delay. I am frustrated that I had to pay up front, yet received no proactive information from them, and only one call during business hours, no text, and was lied to about there having been a second attempt to call me.I will not be buying from Barbeques Galore again. Ziegler and Brown is a BBQ exclusive to them, which made buying replacement components obviously too difficult and unpredictable. I will buy a similar model Weber instead.

If you’re expecting any modicum of customer service or even that anyone within a group of people are capable of organising deliveries with basic instructions and assurance, please do not waste your time and money on BBQs galore in Alexandria.Went in, bought a BBQ, which included both a delivery and assembly of the product – the staff member said I’d receive a text message the night before delivery to select the preferred delivery timeframe the following day. I never received the text message. I called the store; apparently something had gone wrong with the automated SMS process; it would be fixed and I’d receive a text message within 1-2 days to finalise the delivery. Again, no automated text message. So I phoned the store back: they advised they’d push it through a third time but I requested they contact the courier/delivery company themselves to organise directly, given the automated process evidently couldn’t be relied upon. The delivery was booked. It arrived – incredible. But the couriers weren’t given any instructions to assemble the product, only to deliver. No surprises here.I contacted the store yet again; they’d organise for someone to come out in about one week to assemble the BBQ (we’d already been waiting 1.5 weeks since purchase). I told them this was unacceptable – they then agreed to have someone sent out to assemble within 2 days. The next part is probably the best moment of the whole experience. Two gentleman arrive on the planned-date, but they’ve got another BBQ with them; apparently the original which had been delivered was missing a part. Incredible. They’d assemble the BBQ, but then inform us they can’t take away the original one which was delivered.Anyways, it actually doesn’t end there in terms of incompetency, but I couldn’t believe how challenging and awkward it was to organise a delivery or include simple instructions to accompany.And finally, despite dealing with 4-5 different staff members, only one of them apologised about the inconvenience they’d caused during this experience.

nothing has changed since previous last 1 Star ratings . there is no point in buying from them worst service. refused to price match a bbq that was advertised from domayne even though advertised policy is to price match. customer care do not bother with emails either even after chasing up . I would suggest if you still want to support go to caringbah manager is helpful . sad to say regional manager and upper management non emergency existing so can see why poor level of service follows through.
