This is my second visit. European food is hard to find in Qld. This is authentic and great.We had Sarma (cabbage rolls) and the mixed platter last visit.Today took away cabbage rolls and goulash, and had another platter and stuffed capsicum.If you wanted a quick lighter meal there are plenty of options. Staff really enthusiastic.

What a Find!! Authentic, traditional Croatian food that tastes absolutely amazing! The staff are great and welcoming and this will now be regulars and bringing the rest of the family. Thank you for an amazing experience!

We wish this cafe was 2 hours away instead of 12. We would happily drive 2 hours to eat the best food I’ve had in years. Such delicious authentic flavours. Proper home cooking from people who really care. Can’t wait to come back.

Great experience enhanced by very welcoming staff. Dishes were explained and small sample of cakes offered with our meal. Potato/spinach/leek soup was rustic and tasty, thankfully not blended. Triple Pleasure cake combined chocolate, cream and custard for something different and moreish.

Not what you’d expect to find in a small country town. Definitely worth a stop, the food is fresh the service is friendly and more importantly the menu is full of interesting dishes. Well done, what a pleasant surprise.

We invited some friends to have lunch with us who had never had Croatian food before. We all loved it. The food was fresh, homemade and delicious, service friendly and efficient and the cakes were super. I would highly recommend the Cafe and Imbil. Great place and we'll be going back. Well done Sandra & Mira.

Just wow! We stopped by this gem of a place on our way to Borumba Deer Park and was blown away by the quality of the good, portion size and friendly service. Every dish we ordered was delicious! If you're ever passing through Imbil make sure you visit the Croatian Joint!

This is a beautiful little restaurant with the most delicious food and an atmosphere to match. You truly feel like your being fed by loving family. The cheese Burek is to die for....but so is everything else!! A must do when your in Imbil.
