Wangal Reserve
Beautiful design playground with sea view and a nice little sandy shoreline with lots of sea shells for the children to discover (I wouldn't recommend for swimming though). Be cautious the rocks are very slippery, my children slipped and got few cuts from the rocks.Covered BBQ area and toilet nearby is perfect for a children birthday party. The only thing that can be improved is they should add canvas shade to cover the playground, it is quite hot on a sunny day.

New Nature-Based Playground at Wangal ReserveWangal Reserve in Mortlake, characterised by its sandstone headland, small sandy beaches, and open grass areas has received a $1.7 million upgrade. The idyllic peninsula located along the Parramatta River now has new pathways and picnic facilities, new sandstone access steps to the beach, a retrofitted wharf, indigenous artwork, bush tucker garden, and an educational gathering space.A highlight also includes its new inclusive nature play area with swings, carousel, an adventure climbing structure, slides, and a flying fox for children to enjoy.“This project has revitalised Wangal Reserve and provided an important recreation space for the community while maintaining the site’s rich heritage,” City of Canada Bay Mayor Angelo Tsirekas said.Inclusivity and accessibility are also at the forefront of the park’s new design.Information is from innerwestmoms websiteParking is difficult and toilets has no lights.

Absolutely gorgeous, one of the North shores best kept secrets. BBQs, male female + disabled bathroom (disabled access to entire park), secluded beaches"

Beautiful and wonderful park . So much for kids to do . Only thing is my 2 year old keep wanting to run towards edge where water is . I probably won't go again till his older . As that took up most of my time and I couldn't really relax . Needs a fence there .

Wonderful little gem hidden away at the very tip of Mortlake. The park has bbq and toilet facilities, as well as several playgrounds for the kids. It's a great area for families to enjoy a stroll along the waterfront.
