Great place if you are a birder. Freshwater wetland close to the coast, it attracts a wide variety of avian visitors. Nice area for some relaxed recreation, no shops or cafes or anything. It has clean and maintained toilets as well as composting toilets out in the back paddock. Undercover area for picnic in the shade, nice little gazebo to set up the scope and check out the birdlife.

Fantastic spot for a walk or picnic. So relaxing and quiet. Great views of wetlands and waterways. Would be an excellent place for a small beer garden or cafe.

Lovely place to visit, with some beautiful wildlife and walks, picnic tables, dirt road to the tracks, can get potholes very easy due to rain, their is also a driving range that is up the same road Mark Churcher driving range!

Nice place but disappointed to find on arrival we couldn’t bring our dogs in. We drove 45 mins to get to the wetlands. Nowhere on the facebook site could we see that they weren’t allowed and had family double check the website so thought all was good. More disclosure needed please. Roads are dreadful!
