Chaffey Dam Recreation Reserve

Really enjoyed our stay. Wish people would pay the 5 bucks each. Over heard a old woman saying she had no small notes so didn't pay. Stop being a scab. You knew you were coming you should have had change in your motor home. Vent over

5 dollars per person per day entry fee. 1 dollar showers. Amenities building is a little dated, but was acceptably clean during our visit.Shower rose height designed for midgets.Plenty of area to camp.Despite all the bins available to put rubbish in there is still allot of litter from slobby visitors.While the camp grounds are monitored and policed the slobs and knobs still try to defile the area anyway they can. Rallying the access roads and just generally antisocial behaviour.Plenty of smoke from unnecessary fires at every camp site.The noise from human pressence is prolific during busy times.Limited phone service.Short drive to Nundle for a day out or coffee.

Amazing camping spot near Nundle, easy to access and find a spot as there is a large selection of land allocated along the Peel River.Beautiful look out and really lets you connect with nature. A few of the camping spots require a 4WD to access due to the condition of the gravel roadways but provide a fun experience for those interested.

Spend the weekend here and enjoyed it..Good camping areas and showers toilets clean ..honesty system for showers $1.this helps with keeping the area maintained.
