For what can only be described as a cold mid winters day.The sun wanting to break through the clouds.With a Cozy surround soon to be found.Doutta Galla Hotel appears for the win.For a cozy lunch soon to be held within.Once the orders were managed to be had.Only minor confusions, news to be had.Sorted out efficiency is key.Onto the entrees, definitely.Chicken wings all around.Perfection is found.Crunchy and zesty.All but not found.On to the Mains, sure for a grin.Steaks succulent.And juicy indeed.Work colleagues outing to escape the office walls for lunch.Definitely did not disappoint.Laughter and warmth, bellys full of delight.Back to work.Motivated indeed.What a better way on a cold mid winters day.

Perfect place for a date to be honest although I went with my mate lol, love the vibe there. Parma was spot on and the food was fresh and fully worth it. Recommend to try the buffalo wings as well. Will definitely drop in again.

The Doutta Galla Hotel, what can I say! It’s a classic Victorian pub with a great selection of beer and food! The staff were friendly and inviting and the food was great value and well sized! Overall we had a great experience and I can highly recommend this pub for a great counter meal and drink!

Wednesday night Parma $15Pint of Pirate Life IPA 7% $14Love the atmosphere, great service, quick food, plenty of tap options. Definitely would recommend sitting in the main dining area, really bustling with the vintage vibe. Garlic Aioli available at each table too! Vego Parma available on Wednesday too!

The small team on Sunday handled a massive surge of customers from the Melburn Roobaix cycling event pretty well. While the food took a while to arrive for those who ordered later, nothing was missed and all the food was excellent. Great value Parma, excellent range of beer. Seems we drank a few kegs dry, but the many delicious options kept us happy.

Been going here for years for their Tuesday steak nights. It's a nice atmosphere. They light a fire in the fireplace in the front room on cold nights.Recently, they've taken away online ordering for some reason, which I found very convenient. It was an easy way to see the list of options for each dish and what was available for drinks.Also, you now have to order food separately from the kitchen in the back, which they claim frees up the bar. But if they didn't remove online ordering, this wouldn't be an issue.

Great service, amazing staffs, beautiful antique decor. Nice chips especially with their garlic aioli signature. Definitely will come back to try more food. One of my favourite place to chill with live performance in this suburb.

Absolutely disgusting service. We have been coming here for years as our local pub that we always have so much fun at, great vibes from the dance floor, bar, pool table and with usually really respectful and nice security. Well on Saturday night we turned up for my partners bday as planned after a few drinks which we were still in a responsible state and no one highly intoxicated, to be greeted at the door but a new security lady who was absolutely awful. No Hello how you going, just straight out rude, how many have you had to drink, we each had to tell her how many we had, my response of 5 drinks was way over the line even though I am 30 years old and had them over the duration of 6 hours. I'm just honestly speechless at her lack of communication and people skills. I said to her numerous times I understand she is doing her job but the way she spoke to us all was just horrible. Doutta gala you have now lost atleast 50 of us of our mates that regularly would've come for dinners or a night out as my word will be spread. Very very sad you have hired someone like this at your door & for a manager to not come to us and ask how he can help or what the problem is, is just as bad, instead the police were contaced, where is your respect for your customers. This will be reported further, I will not give up.

Not even deserving of one star. This venue and their staff are complicit in the violent hate speech and verbal abuse perpetrated towards members of the LGBTQI+ community by patrons. Do not go here if you want to feel safe.
