Vic Removals

I highly recommend Vic Removals as they did a wonderful job and were value for money.They rang to confirm their arrival time, they were on time and very careful with my furniture, so there was zero damage to anything which was awesome.And they had to climb two flights of stairs on a warm day which made it more challenging.They were friendly, nice guys and helpful during the move.

Vic removals completed a very long day of moving us out of one large property and into a smaller property. Nothing was too much trouble and the movers who worked were happy to help and skilled at safely moving items with no breakage. The job was bigger than first thought and the team kept working until the job was done - thank you to Vic Removals!

After many moves over the years, these were by far the slowest and most incompetent. They were fumbling about for so long that my husband and myself ended up helping and moved approximately 1/4 of the items to and from the apartments ourselves, which we have never done before.For exact moving comparison for same furniture / items (excluding differences of travel times between apartments):° Previous moves took 2.5 - three hours.° These movers took five hours - with our help.Upon asking them to put some speed into it, it was responded with a grunty, ok"

We used Vic Removals twice in preparation for the sale of our house and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them as very reliable, efficient and experienced Removalists. They were particularly helpful and also really lovely people to work with.The first move was to declutter our home before open inspections, the second to collect our remaining possessions and move them into storage after sale.Dil and Harry were our removalists on both occasions and we’re absolutely brilliant - very professional, working quickly but with great care not to damage anything. Their helpful and friendly attitude, calm and sense of humour - along with their confidence and know-how - took away a lot of the stress of moving.

AVOID, RUN, HIDE!!!!The removalist they sent me, I assume a subcontractor, was reckless and damaged my home despite me and the other removalist telling him to stop what he was doing. I've been trying to resolve this issue with Vic removals for three days now and I get the feeling they are fobbing me off. They did not respond to my email and when I phoned Vic he said he would phone me back in 30 minutes. Guess what? No phone call back . So I phoned him twice and went to voicemail. Left a voicemail on the fourth call stating that if he did not phone me back by the end of the day i would go straight to VCAT. Vic phoned back and said I needed to get the property repaired and then he would pay for half the cost. He made up claims that I was putting pressure on the removalists and that i did this by being in the room and giving instructions! false. Then he said he would need to charge me the $300 cancellation fee because i put a stop to the move after they damaged the property. Also, I just saw their website which said that customers need to pay their company's insurance excess bill! What a joke!Also, he wouldn't provide me with his business' ABN.Avoid this company!

I had to do a big move that was very stressful for me but these guys were amazing, from making a booking- pick up to drop off they were kind, generous and hard working. They had the job done in no time at all, I’m always a little worried about stuff being broken or damaged during moves but they handled all my stuff like they were moving their own. They made the whole move easy. I also found they are far more affordable than any of the other companies, and I highly higggghhhly recommend. 10/10,Thanks legends!!

Vic and Team was very amazing professional bunch of guys. Absolutely jolly and funny all throw the day while lifting heavey furniture. They helped us while my wife was pregnant and i couldn't help them.They were very polite on time helped to dismantled the bed and put it back on at drop off highly recommend very hard working guys in 38 degree heat they didn't stop. Really disappointed with this company, hired them over the weekend and all I can say is thank god I was their first client because they took 6hrs to do 2 trips to clear out a 2 bedroom unit. Moved half my items from Dandenong to Dandenong North then the remaining items to Hawthorn. 2x very slim men came, hardly spoke any English and I’m sorry to say but their body odour what atrocious, so much that 2 days later their smell is still lingering on my couch and mattress (which was also protected). They only carried one item at a time, dragged their feet and one men put zero effort into lifting furniture, all I could see and hear was constant banging against the walls because it wasn’t paying attention to the size of the item or items around him.I also made it very clear over the phone pre booking to Vick at there were stairs, he said out of good faith to tip them $25 each on top of the $120 per hr plus $60 call out fee. At the end of the moving, the boys who could barely communicate with me during the move all of a sudden were very polite and direct when asking for their tip however they demanded $50 per person because they said there were a few stairs to enter apartments then stairs again so it had to be double.They also had the audacity to tell me that they couldn’t take my outdoor pot upstairs and if it broke then they wouldn’t be liable for it.. in the end they made it up however not pleasant hearing from a company who offers liability and a service to move that they couldn’t do it purely because they were lazy.Moving a 2 bedroom unit cost $830 because I only tipped them $25 each. What a joke, would have been cheaper to go with a company at a higher hourly rate with 2x strong men and not a company that hired internationals in the county for less than 2 months who were dragging their feet. I also felt sorry for the 2 other jobs they had booked in for the day after mine because these guys really took their time.And lastly, whilst they were reversing up the driveway, they scratched the driveway with the frame of the truck because the one outside the truck assisting the driver wasn’t paying attention to guide. Now we’re sourcing quotes to repair the damages caused. L

This company is amazing.Great communication with Vick and the moving guys.They were polite, efficient and got the job done so smoothly. Well priced.I would highly recommend them. 10 / 10
