The pulled pork and brisket burgers were both great, if a bit messy to eat. Dessert portions were generous for the price ($12).Good spot to host a small gathering. A little bit chilly outside at night.

One of our favorite bar and restaurant to hang out. Best food, thanks to the chef. Great beer and wine too. Never miss to order the buffalo chicken, smoke barbecue lamb ribs paired with chips , healthy coleslaw and chips. We can stay here for hours just drinking ,eating, chatting and listening to their house .music. the servers are very accomodating special mention to Kyle for taking care of us during our visit. . Thank you to the owners for the hospitality . The welcoming gesture is highly appreciated. Luckily we were surprized when with out knowing a live band entertained us for the night. I hope it will happen again , looking forward. Thank you also for selling souvenirs t shirt we love it. And let me also take this opportunity to say thank you to the give away caps you give us. Will add it to our souvenirs to keep. Surely will take it with us when we go home to our country. For sure bad shepherd will always be in our list as the best bar to visit when you are in Melbourne. Highly recommended. Bad shepherd is not bad at all.

Great brewery with a fantastic selection of beers to choose from. Highlight was the Singapore sling sour. Also definitely grab a peanut butter stout, even a small one if you don't like dark beers (trick is to gulp it, don't so sip it).Make sure you come down between a Thursday and Sunday so you can enjoy the smoked meat menu. We went Wednesday which is still good as they do 50c wings, plus other bbq style food like brisket burger/ pulled pork sandwich/ etc.

Great find; the indoor area is nice and they have a great selection of beer ( definitely try the Peanut Butter Porter).Can get very busy and difficult to get in during peak hours. They do have outdoor seating, but no umbrellas so not practical in very hot days.Update 4 June 2023: This has become one of my favourite places; updating to 5*. Still recommend trying the “Peanut Butter Porter”: it’s awesome. Also, any of their BBQ foods - truly good food!

Really helpful staff, suggesting beers depending on different people taste, good quality beer, Food from smoker awesome and the best thing LOCAL! So good to have a restaurant / brewery like this 5 minutes drive from home in Cheltenham. First time going and definitely won’t be the last one!

Bloody epic hazy IPA. Complements the smoky BBQ so well. The brisket is crazy tender and the ribs ... Lips no asking good. Sooner to the chef about the homemade BBQ sauce too - so much spice and flavour. Loved the corn salad too.

Really cool brewpub with plenty of beers and food available. The theming creates a good atmosphere with options for both indoor and outdoor seating.Beers are on tap as well as a range of beers available for take away.We had a sampling of their smoked meats along with some onion rings and corn salad.It is located on the corner of Reserve Rd however there is limited parking in the side streets surrounding the venue. The venue is located in an industrial area but we found it pretty easy to park. Southland shopping center is also near by. Highly recommend a visit.
