Cape Otway Light station Lookout
Not worth the trip out here unless your willing to pay $20 per adult & $10 per child to see a light house, when you can see many light houses along the coast for free. If price was more affordable we would have paid.

Cape Otway Light station Lookout
Beautiful trail leading up to the lookout. The lighthouse appears as a tiny object from the lookout. You will need a Zoom lens/ good smart phone camera to take some decent shots of the upper part of the lighthouse.Make sure to visit this lookout only if you are visiting the lighthouse (which needs a pad ticket). It's not worth it to just come here for the lookout.

It's the most arh-some lookout according to my kids. The lookout is tiny and view far. We would have missed it if not for that sign.

$20 cover just to walk in the gate bit excessive. After 20min wait to get up to the top of light house gave up. Dinosaur exhibition dated and looks like it's been around since the stone age.

Unfortunately even after checking the opening hours to ensure the light station would be open prior to driving all the way there, it was not. This pic is as close as I could get.Very disappointing.

Lovely area to walk around in, lookout is getting a bit overgrown but nice place to wander all the same

Pleasant walk, but there are better ones in the area. Lookout is small and behind a lot of tall trees (not up on a cliff edge as I expected), so you can just see the top of the lighthouse far in the distance. Another hiker turned up while I was there, looked uncertain and said to me is this meant to be the lookout??" so I'm not the only one underwhelmed. If really you want a short walk and are up that way anyway

Cape Otway Light station Lookout
This was our second time to visit we travelled from Torquay Monday 7/11/22 on a lovely sunny day with not much wind this time. Only a few couples before us and we had plenty of time to enjoy the view. We managed to get the last 3 scones with jam and cream. They were huge and yummy! Only managed to eat one and took the other back to our accommodation @ Torquay. Thanks to the Cape Otway Lighthouse volunteer for his insight.
