Staff are helpful and kind, the selection of home wares is satisfactory. However the store lacks pricing transparency. There are large signs plastered on the shop front advertising significant markdowns, however not every item is adequately marked with its respective price. It's a pain to hunt for the price and then bother staff repeatedly. This becomes problematic when trying to check out with items which end up being full price. They are also cashless, which for me personally is fine but can imagine it would be a challenging prospect for those who don't use card. Worth a browse, however your money is probably better spent elsewhere.

Staff will not honour warranties on products they sell, and accuse you of mistreating goods so that the warranty is negated. Have spent a lot of money here over the years and will never go back and strongly advise others not to use this store if you expect reasonable outcomes from warranty claims.

Very mixed advice when assistant offers help and manager give completely different advice. Perhaps young male shop attendants should only give advice if they know the products and perhaps have some cooking experience.

Customer Service skills lacking & very poor. why work in retail if you cant even say 'hi, how are you?' to a customer whose standing at the counter waiting to buy an item from your store??will not be going back there to buy anything, & will def tell my friends not to either.

OK, but the Was / Now price labels are fraudulent. Why not be truthful (and legal) and say RRP / Our Price. You never sold the product at the price shown, so this isn't legal. And a genuine special at DJs was cheaper anyway.

Disgraceful treatment of customers - how can HOUSE have a no cash / card only policy and then dare to charge customers the surcharge? It was not my choice to use a card but it was either buy the product I'd spent ages choosing or walk away. Absolutely unacceptable and shameful way to treat customers. I for one will never make another purchase from HOUSE.
