Lakes Entrance Pet-O-Tel

My perfectly healthy cat died while in the care of pet-o-tel less than 48 hours after being dropped off. Don't use this service if you love your animals. I'll never get my cat back and I'm heart broken.

For the last 2 years over Christmas and Easter we have left our Golden Retriever Sam with Dale and John at Lakes Pet-O-Tel. Even when not holidaying in Lakes Entrance, we choose to drive from Melbourne. As we leave him for 2-3 weeks at a time, we decided that we felt most comfortable leaving him in Dale and John’s care. Dale is always happy to let us know how he is going, and we know that we do not need to worry about him while he is there. We know that their passion for animals ensures Sam is getting the best possible care. When we pick him up he is always in beautiful condition and most of all content and happy. I would not hesitate in recommending Dale and John.

This place is a joke... would not ever try there again.... took my staffy there and they wouldnt accept him... the lady that served me was so rude and unprofessional.

Leave my Staffy here whenever I go away. Great owners who care for him as I do. Highly recommend!!!

The building is not much to look at but, caring owners. Plus you can take your dog for a walk. Our dog has been going there each year for the past 5 years.

Great place to board your pet while on holiday for daycare or longer. Kind, caring and responsible owners that go above and beyond for your beloved pets. My puppy Tashi loved her experience of day care while we were on holiday recently. Highly recommend if you are holidaying in the area.

It was my first time taking Tex there. Dale was wonderful and took the stress out of leaving him there. Had to change my booking at the last minute for a couple of extra nights and she was very helpful, which was so appreciated. Thank you

This is the third time our old girl has stayed there. The only concern this summer is that it's a potentially bad bushfire season and the kennels are near state forest. But that applies almost everywhere.

Our girl stayed here while we were away in 2022. A great place where the owners make you feel welcome and the dogs are very well cared for. I have no hesitation in recommending the Pet-o-tel as a reliable and trustworthy business.
