after I left a genuine review on my google account about his businesses poor service, treg decided that he would stalk down my Facebook page to accuse me of defamation and threaten legal action. I HAVE NEVER had such complete unprofessional behavior from a business owner. Completely unable to take criticism on work they do incorrectly. I myself do not drive due to medical issues but I have had 4 friends take their cars to Treg smith for a regas and every single one of them had the exact same problem with their air conditioning less than a month later. Since then I’ve heard that this has happened to multiple others too.In Treg’s response on google - to my google review he accused me of refusing to correspond with him. I have severe anxiety and PTSD and there was no way I was going to take a phone call with someone who is already defensive and accusing me of defamation. I was however okay with continuing to message if he did genuinely want more information- which I had gave him in the same response that said I wasn’t interested in calling.There is no insurance in his work, if they mess up a regas you’ll see on the invoice that they’re not responsible for future issues of the aircon so if you are one of the unlucky people to have it messed up you’ll be back within a month and have to pay for it all over again.This is not defamation this is a genuine review of the 4 cars aircons that had to be paid for twice after they went to Treg smith. I hope this review can help someone else.

Our Volkswagen Touareg was serviced at South Street and I couldn’t be more happier with the way it’s now driving. Treg Smith’s Auto is a perfect representation of an old school mechanic which takes the time to explain all that was done. Excellent service and staff, can’t recommend more highly enough!

I can not speak highly enough about Treg Smith's Autos!It is so difficult to find a mechanic that knows what they are doing AND are not going to over charge.I received nothing but courtesy and professionalism from the entire team at both workshops.I am over the moon that I was directed to them by a good friend of mine because I will not be letting anyone else touch my car from now on.

Got my Maxda CX3 serviced. They provided a great comprehensive service - I felt the difference/improvement straight away when driving the vehicle home. Provided honest and great customer service.

Yesterday my car battery failed. Jay and Jeff sorted it is efficiently and promptly replaced the battery. Great service as usual. Always a pleasure to do business with Treg Smith Autos.

Friendly, professional, knowledgeable. As a female I felt comfortable and not once did I feel like I was being ripped off. I'm taking my car here every time from now on!
