A beautiful place! We are a family of 4 (2A and 2C under 12) everyone loved our stay there. The animals were extremely friendly and they would hang around the lodge during the day grazing. It was really nice to see just greenery and farm animals grazing from your windows in the warm comfort of a wood fire. My kids had fun roasting marshmallows on the camp fire, picking fruits from the orchard, and picking eggs from the coop. Highly recommend this for families with kids and would love to come back again!

I cannot express how much my little family (7&4yrs boys) Love this place. House is cosy, the farm is alive, the ponies were jogging early, Bridget allowed the kids to pat the various animals there. Just Amazing. So far my Top/Best farmstay.

We had a wonderful time staying here at the farmstay. It was a beautifully secluded spot with cute farm animals (my wife especially loved the two ponies!). You could really tell Bridget and Gary’s pride in their farmstay with great attention to detail, specially handwritten cards introducing the farmstay and the names of each animal. The stars at night were particularly magnificent! Would highly recommend if you’re ever in the area - in fact, we deliberately travelled to the area to stay here!

Update as at October 2021 the pub is no longer open just the farm stay. Sad - darn Covid! give this a five rating for its offering. It has recently commenced Renovations and it is looking great. The owners are engaging and have fabulous customer service. They only do platters at the moment with meats, cheeses and biscuits and it was really really good. The view sitting on the pub balcony is just spectacular overlooking the valley. There is accommodation there too which is reasonably priced and basic country pub quality. They have animals such as llamas in the yard which is a point of difference too. Highly recommend a visit here.

Had an amazing time staying in the accomodation with friends and family. Everything was top notch and up to a great standard. The animals were friendly and amazing. The views were 10/10. The wood fired hot tub was a highlight. Family friendly.

Hotel is being slowly renovated after being closed for a number of years, so as you can imagine there is a bit of work to be done! Parts of the Hotel are still under construction. Staff (and dogs) were friendly and the area is beautifully quiet for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Bridge and Gary were wonderful hosts, the cottages are lovely, the views amazing and the animals are very cute. Just remember to bring your own food, if you are staying when the pub is not open, as the farm is isolated.
