Helen and her team provided hair and makeup for myself, my Mum and my two bridesmaids for my wedding in March 2023. From the trial right through to the finishing touches on the day, Helen was amazing to work with and had us all feeling at ease.Helen listened to me when I said I wanted a natural makeup look, coming up with an amazing look at the trial which she then tweaked slightly on the day to elevate it and match it to my dress and jewellery. As for my hair, all I told her was that I'd like curls (in my naturally straight hair), and on the day she not only gave me curls that lasted all day and night but worked in a hair piece I'd bought at the last minute too, sweeping my hair up out of my face on one side, which was perfect.Helen also made my Mum and bridesmaids look gorgeous, coming up with a low pony hair style for my bridesmaids on the day which suited them perfectly. All our makeup and hair lasted all day and night and didn't budge. Her professionalism and ability were excellent, and very much appreciated by me, especially as I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted.As if she wasn't brilliant enough, Helen was a joy to have around while we got ready, and her prices were the most reasonable I'd looked at when researching bridal makeup services. I'm so happy I found her and am still amazed at how I looked!Thank you so much again Helen, we were so grateful to have you there.

I had the most incredible experience working with Helen, who did my hair and makeup on my wedding day.While I was unsure about the kind of hairstyle I wanted during the trial, I opted for a simple style that is quite popular among many brides. However, on the day of the wedding, I showed Helen a hairpin that had sentimental value to me, and she immediately had a vision for something entirely different. I recently got married in January and used HM Allure for my hair and make up. Helen, the owner of this beautiful salon was amazing to deal with, from the trial to the big day! Her prices for bridal hair and make-up are soooo reasonable, unlike many other places. Her make up skills are fabulous, and I felt stunning on my wedding day. It was not overdone and she matched it well to my brown skin, which I find not all make up artists can do well. She also did hair and make up for my mum and my mother in law, inviting us to get ready in the salon making it a fun morning! Their hair and make up was perfectly suited to their personalities and age appropriate. My mum, who never wears make up or treats herself, looked soooo beautiful! Highly recommended! I now use Helen for all my hairdressing needs!
