Steve's Place has an old school surf shop feel to it, like surf shops use to have. It's a shop that oozes style/character. From the vintage surfboards hanging from the roof and the racks of new surf and skate gear all around Steve's place has something for everyone. I know that sounds cliched but, its true... There are both contemporary and retro surf/skateboards with the clothing and accessories to suit. The staff are pleasant and the shop is a pleasure to discover... Thanks guys...

Felt like a nightmare shopping experience. I think it happened this summer holiday when my son needed a beach short but I couldn't be sure of the size and after getting permission from the store assistant that I could return the item if it's not suitable, then I brought a children's beach short.After about 15 minutes of trying it on and not fitting, I tried to return this product and was met with a rude attitude and no return allowed by the two male store assistant ( maybe owner) . I was forced to swap a very old fashion and worn out model from their warehouse until I threatened to call the police officer and they finally refunded me. I think they thought I was a tourist, but I live in South Australia.Also, I would STRONG advice against going to this shop if you don't speak English well or are an Asian tourist, the shop assistants are very unfriendly when you have no intention of buying.

Really enjoyed the old school style and being able to browse in peace. There's a huge selection with great prices even lower than RRP. Staff were friendly and the layout allows you to see all the clothing for sale.

As other reviewers have said as soon as you walk in it feels like going back in time and the chill/relaxed atmosphere of the place takes over. Awesome place with great customer service and will definitely come back again.
