Had Allan come and install a sliding security door found him to be professional and prompt . He also did my son's house which was in need of all doors and windows once again a terrific job. Have no problem recommending him.

I am so glad we contacted Allan to help us install our security screen door for our cafe in Southport. He is responsive, professional and courteous. Allan came over to do measurement on the day we contacted him. Our shop building is very old and he made sure he comes back again to measure twice to build extra frames to support the door. He even cleaned up after the installation, no debris left behind. I'm just very impressed with his work. Price was extremely competitive as well. Thank you for your great work Allan.

Wanted to give a 0 or minus star review. Seems we were the last job for Security Screens and Doors as Alan told us he was “retiring on Friday.” The job was awful, Alan’s son was inpatient, hurried and disrespectful to our unit and furnishings. They left the place with us needing to engage a plasterer, a glazier, a painter and a handyman to fix the bulkhead where they gauged out great chunks of plaster from our newly painted walls, we need to fix a huge mirror they cracked and replace a carpet they cut. Our curtains no longer close and to top it all off the fly wire doors they installed are uneven, the locks are off centre and the doors are not fixed down properly. They do not run easily or smoothly.We rang Alan and asked him to come back and look at the job but when he eventually turned up he was abusive, rude, loud and swearing so much he didn’t listen or want to hear what we were saying. He refused to look at the doors, make the adjustments required and denied he or his son damaged our property. He left our premises still yelling abuse at my wife. Not a nice man and perhaps in the throws of a breakdown? We now need to employ others to fix his and his sons very, very, very bad work.PS. We later received an email saying our money would be refunded (has not happened) but that does not fix his unprofessionalism, his bad workmanship and our property.STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS MOB.

Took time off work as they arranged to do a quote between 4&5pm, did not turn up, then called and was abused verbally how can this business have good reviews, absolute disgusting language that was used…

Just a heads up people, buyer beware!!!Incredibly poor quality security screen door installed, locks rattle, corner joints have been cut incorrectly allowing light to shine through. Believe me, these are NOT petty items, every time someone opens and shuts the door everyone can hear the metal rods rattle, very annoying. And if you walk up the hallway you can clearly see light streaming in through the black door frame in all corners.I provided exact measurements for old lock positions and pictures before they quoted the job. They cut new holes in my timber door jamb leaving the old lock positions exposed. They even came out and measured things up and still they cut my timber door frame up!Marker pen marks left on the timber door jamb, oily residue on the security screen door frame. Very inferior workmanship.Alan's answer was: All high quality locks rattle, if you're not happy I'll come out and take it down. That does not rectify the holes that have been cut into my timber door frame!

After getting four quotes and discussing security and fly wires I went with Southport Security Screens and Doors I must say it was the best decision as Allan and his team did an awesome job with no drama even fixing mistakes the builder made with the sliding doors. Don't bother wasting your time these guys are professional, honest and do a first class job.
