Absolutely disappointed with S&A! Would not recommend them at all!!. We received 2 quotes a year ago from S&A and when we began communication again the other week we were assured all was still the same and encouraged to pay 9k Half the quote to assure the job was done asap which we did. I then received a phone call stating they had a $3.5 k engineering price that was unseen to which I assumed they would honour but they didn't, in a need for the job to be done I offered to pay 2k for the engineering to which they then came back with a NO. So fed up I told them I would pay the full cost to which I was told the directors actually said they don't want to do the job". We are a non for profit and don't usually get involved in the building industry however I see this as a terrible business practise and we are extremely disappointed not to mention have opened up a wall in a large foyer at the request of S&A now they have wiped there hands. Also I had a call from the steal worker Asking if I want to organise the job now as he was also left having ordered all the steal. unprofessional.In all this Nathan the rep was a nice guy. the reason for 1 star over 0"

Found this company via yellow pages. After my initial request for a simple flight of stairs that would require a site measure and quote, I received an abrupt reply requesting plans. I responded with helpful information and that the opening was formed ready for a site measure. The reply was that they were too busy with current workload.......Thanks for nothing and good luck running your business the way you do.I will find someone to build my stairs.
