Serene Oasis in BrisbaneThe Nepalese Peace Pagoda at Southbank Brisbane is a tranquil gem that offers a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The exquisite pagoda, surrounded by beautiful gardens and offering moments of meditation, provides a serene oasis for reflection and contemplation. The stunning views make it a must-visit destination for those seeking peace and tranquility in the heart of Brisbane. Highly recommended!

The Nepalese Pagoda is situated in one of South Bank’s most treasured attractions. Originally brought to Brisbane QLD Australia as the time of Kingdom of Nepal’s contribution to World Expo 88, the three-story high Pagoda is now located in the heart of the Parklands. It features 80 tons of hand-carved Nepalese timber and took more than hundreds of Nepalese families two years to build. It is also one of only three Nepalese pagodas in the world to be located outside of Nepal. Highly recommendation to visit and watch from closed to beautiful Nepalese pagoda outside of Nepal made by pure Nepali culture and oldest religion in the world.Fresh air of south bank river and peace mind of culture and Hindu religion brought to you from Nepal.

Nepalese Peace Pagoda Temple is a small temple at the heart of South Bank parkland, Brisbane. The temples features traditional design and accommodates some old statues. It is worth visiting this place while at South Bank parkland. There is no free car park at the location. Bus, ferry, and train are the available options to arrive at the temple.

A stunning and historic heritage item from the Brisbane Expo in 1988. The intricate carved Peace Pagoda stands in a rainforest grove at the north-western end of the parklands and remains an iconic relic salvaged from thee Expo ’88. Absolutely worth visiting when passing by, and the Pagoda resides in a stunning rainforest like area with views of the river nearby.

Great spot, highly recommend coming here. You can go inside and visit. At first I thought it was a temple in Thailand, but later I found out that it is from Nepal. The architectural style is very special, and you can enjoy the shade on the other side.

A nice change in the middle of a crowded city. A peaceful quiet little corner surrounded by a little bit of vegetation and lots of skinny tall bamboo sticks. Right on the edge of the river. Great place to relax and clear your mind for a few minutes while you're enjoying the view of the Brisbane River.

Nice and peaceful place! Very well preserved. It would be nice to access the second floor of the building and some more text about it and its decorations
