Rob has a thorough and diverse knowledge about all genres of music, whether I want to learn a heavy metal song, a classic rock song, or a recent day pop song, Rob has it covered!He breaks songs down step by step and makes it as simple to learn as possible, for anyone at any guitar level.

Rob teaches my 10 year old son guitar and we have found him to be a fantastic teacher. He is patient and encouraging and has a special talent for tailoring new music to a student's skill level so that it is achievable but also challenging, fun and motivating. I've been learning guitar and bass from Rob for the past six years. Rob has taught me so much, improved my technique, made me feel super confident about peforming and working within the music industry! You can always have a great conversation with him! And the occasional laugh or two!Rob is a dedicated and highly enthusiastic teacher! His passsion for music flows through his teaching and enables any student to learn and be confident about their own abilities! I've come a long way since learning from him in year 7! And have been great friends since!

Rob McPherson is by a very long distance the finest guitar teacher I've ever had the pleasure of working with.
