Rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. Totally mismanaged our property, terrible tenants who trashed our investment property, owing us weeks of rent, unpaid water bills and damage to the property, it's been four weeks since our old tenants moved out and we still haven't received our keys back, the team have told us it is what it is" and constantly ignore our emails and calls to resolve the issues. I would never trust First National with another property."

Terrible experience having my unit managed from them from the start till the end. Changed managers multiple times. They were rude to my tenants until they moved out. The owner wouldn't even take my calls to discuss the issues. I would not recommend using them to manage your property and I never will again.

Worst property managers I have ever dealt with.. Fact!! If your a landlord do yourself a favour go somewhere else, First National Centre Point will take your money but won't manage your property. They don't answer the phone, they don't reply to your emails. First National lost the set of keys they hand on hand to our property, they left a serious electrical issue that was triping power to the property for weeks before repairing, even after several emails and calls and the only reason they repaired the problem was because the tenant (me) had to contact the landlord directly. I could go on with more reasons Why First National Centre Point are completely incompetent as a property manager but you only need to read some of the other reviews on here!

I would highly recommend the property managers at First National to manage your property after doing so for years now and never having any problems. The service they give you is second to none! 10/10!

The crew at First National were so helpful finding me a beautiful place to rent whilst I was waiting to move into my new home. They assisted me in every stage of the process and were so easily contactable!

I feel obliged to provide details of my negative experience. I am a property manager and principal, sales and rentals, on the Gold Coast. I rented a property this year through First National, Mermaid Beach/Clear Island Waters, so experiencing this from the tenant end (while in between selling properties), was interesting to say the least. To any potential landlord, I would NOT recommend this agency; I am a 4.9 star agent on business google (have owned a rent roll 30 plus years) and have been in real estate 35 plus years, my children’s father has been the REIQ chairperson over many years, our four children work in real estate - young adults now (we have real estate in our blood)... and so I know. The management was bullying, passively aggressive, and avoidant. A new PM apologised to me after the first PM left, and admitted the issues with the first manager with this and other properties, but things didn't improve much. The principal's communication style when problem solving is primitive, bullying, and inhumane. I tried to approach him due to the property manager’s non action. The property at vacate time, could rent for $1300 per week if was better maintained by the management throughout this year, and so the lessors are in a position where they are going to be earning $600-800 less per month moving forward with deterioration of maintenance, these were all reported by me over 12 months. I'm currently paying $1100 per week, and due to unattended maintenances, with serious issues, like blocked gutters causing patio to flood (unusable), peeling paint entire patio, front back and side - very unsightly (house renovated 12 months ago and sold for $1.3 plus million) and so many unattended issues, like locks not working on windows (so no security), no window furnishings at back of house (with a lot of break-ins reported in the area), no hot water at commencement 4 days - yes, no hot water, these things which I mostly fixed myself due to the urgency and to avoid the hostility of the agent who was here in the first 4 months. She ended up leaving. They did the bare minimum as managers, as they just didn't bother to recommend to the owner for their ongoing wellbeing and maximising their income. They are in breach of their responsibilities to lessor and tenants alike. Told by property manager after reporting faulty dishwasher from commencement, that things like this are usually caused by a tenant. It was never attended to with a service at all, so this was unusable. Even to attend to repairs that are normally preauthorised by owners such as plumbing and electrical repairs. I will be sending all collated reports of maintenance to the owner as I leave to alert them to such poor substandard management. And to recommend they find a new agent. This type of management can cost a lessor tens of thousands of dollars if this continues over the years; as a property manager I've inherited many a property that I've had to tidy up, which has hurt the lessor in the pocket to the tune of $20,000 to $30,000 when major things left unattended to i.e. gutters blocked and aesthetics deteriorating. And, not to mention the disrespect to a paying tenant, who has paid, almost $60,000 in rent for one year for a freshly renovated house in a prestige suburb, is just not acceptable. At the risk of being shamed as a tenant, I feel obliged to report my awful experience for the last 12 months. I note the last review was removed by agent.

I have rented through First National Centrepoint for many years now and can not fault the service and extra care the property managers take when it comes to looking after myself and the property. Highly recommend!

I have been buying & selling property for close to 40 years, and I can honestly say that the entire team at Centrepoint First National are second to none when it comes to their professionalism and integrity. Led by Aaron & Ryan, they superbly managed my property, then put together a great sales and marketing strategy to sell my property, which resulted in a much better outcome than I had expected....I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Centrepoint First National for either property management or sales....well done CFN..!!
