Cody came to our rescue after the recent devastating flood events. He managed to squeeze us in and repaired our damaged culvert crossing efficiently and with great skill. By fitting us in as quickly as he did we were able to get back up and running again, and we are so appreciative! Would highly recommend.

We have used Cody and his team from black Mountain contracting on muiltable projects. They offer a professional service including interpreting site plans, following safety procedures, keeping a clean work site and well maintained machinery for the task ahead. Operators are very competent and can be unsupervised to get the job done. They are a great asset to us and will be using them in the future.

We built on a completely bare block, After contacting Black Mountain Contracting, Who were extremely helpful in leveling areas for our lawns and gardens , and a beautiful drive way and round about. Six months later I am so pleased with their work, our lawns are a picture with a beautiful drive!, Thank you !

We suffered a substantial landslide against the back of our house in the May22 heavy rains - the site is extremely tight and on a 30 deg slope. Cody exceeded all our expectations with his outstanding work. In a very difficult site situation, a very restricted area to work in and with large amounts of extremely heavy clay mud, he persevered for over a month using two machines sequentially to build a retaining wall of mammoth proportions which is visually very impressive and will protect the house - most probably from nuclear attack as well! This was not landscaping, but major civil engineering. He also stabilised the slope behind the wall and uphill of the house such that future slides will be impossible. Other construction contractors would not even quote on the job, but Cody persevered through very hot days as well as wet periods, never losing his focus nor belief that the outcome would be successful - even as we were sometimes losing heart.At all times he was very conscious of the safety aspects of the job (having provided a detailed written safety plan on commencement), but flexible in maintaining a safe work site as well as meeting the requirement.Such a job is not cheap - we did not expect it to be - and there were many 'curve balls' along the way which necessitated an innovative approach by Cody to achieve a satisfactory outcome. The final cost is well justified (his weekly accounting is fully detailed and easily understood) by the end result and we could not be happier. Many thanks Cody - very, very well done. Cooee
