Otway Gate Motel

My friend stayed at the Otway Gate in Colac for a few weeks and he settled in just like home! Graham was exceptionally kind and wonderful and looked after my friend just like a mate! He felt incredibly comfortable and was very thankful for his stay. I felt very welcome each time I visited to pick my friend up for outings and I would walk into Reception so I could have a lovely chat to Graham, he is such a sweetheart!! I highly recommend Otway Gate Motel!

I recently stayed 2 nights at this motel. My room was extremely comfortable and had everything I could have needed including a kettle, toaster, microwave, hairdryer, electric blanket and even a USB port for charging. Even though the room was relatively small there was a lot of storage space. The room has been totally renovated, lovely bathroom with a rain shower and everything was spotlessly clean (and I can be fussy when it comes to cleanliness). Lovely linen and towels. There was car parking at the door so it was easy to unload and load the car. Graeme at reception was very welcoming and helpful right from my phone call to make the booking. I could not fault this motel and would definitely stay again next time I'm in the area.

Manager was really nice and helpful room was clean and tidy bed was comfortable and the shower was very clean they supplied kettle, toaster, microwave, plates cups and mugs utensils teatowel dishwashing liquid and a cooked breakfast and they have foxtel

Cannot thank Graeme at Otway Gate Motel enough for his help. I made a mistake with my booking and he went above and beyond to help me with making the necessary changes when Wotif wouldn't. Its customer service like this that will ensure anytime I am near Colac this is the motel of choice for our familyGreat work and thank you again!!!!!

Nice little motel. Very clean and in good condition. Also electric car chargers though I did not use them because the cables would run across the walk way and would be a trip hazard.

Super clean, modern rooms and quiet while still being close to town. Everyone working were very kind and helpful. Stayed for a night as a pitstop during travel and would have liked to have stayed another night ☺️

The best Motel in Melbourne!Me and my partner broke down in otway park and had this accommodation booked for us for the night!All I can say is 6 stars! The rooms are clean, spacious, fully equipped and modern.The owner and his partner are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet! They even drove us to the shops to get food as all the deliveries were closed and we had not eaten all day due to the breakdown.If you are looking for a motel, hotel, airBNB or any form of accommodation, look no further than Otway Gate Motel!!!! :)

Friendly and efficient welcome from Graeme. The rooms are spotless and have everything you need, even bath sheets instead of tiny towels. Graeme also recommended The Austral Hotel for dinner which was fabulous.My only regret with Otway Gate was that we were only there one night. A pleasure to meet Lily when I returned the key after a wonderful night's sleep. Hope to stay again.

Very impressive, clean updated and everything you need. Great to have bath sheets, large coffee mugs and such a comfortable bed. Well done to you for the great renos you have done to what looks like an old motel, was such a surprise to walk in and see how impressive it was. clean neat room, graham couldn't do enough for us. they even made room for our trailer. Great breakfast. Comfy bed. quiet venue. foxtel was a treat for us. Staying again soon.
