This place is packed with historic artifacts as well as featuring some historic old settler buildings.The one in the photo is a settlers cottage. The grounds include a little rain forest walk and historic cemetery.Well worth the visit.We went as a group to paint - the staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Such a lovely museum and park. I learned a lot about the Gold Coast and all different aspects of its famous people and history. The volunteers are amazing. Highly recommend this to any visitor. You will get a lot out of it.

This museum has a wide range of artefacts where everyone should find items of interest. Two volunteer staff took time to communicate where to find things and items of particular interest. Good off street parking. A museum village with a nice garden rather than the normal type of museum . Entry a low $5

Amazing place with colonial cottages and Gold Coast history like wood from the wreckage of the Coolangatta.Rare trees in a rainforest walk and a lot of friendly birds.So much to see and such friendly volunteers.Right in the heart of the Gold Coast and was the subject of a one hour documentary by Isaac Butterfield on his hit YouTube channel.

A Great place to learn about the history and heritage of the Gold Coast. The volunteers are welcoming and full of insightful information about the way the Gold Coast has developed and evolved. The gardens are well maintained and filled with native flora and fauna. A true sanctuary in the heart of Surfers paradise. I Highly recommended this museum to nature lovers and people who appreciate history.
