The biscuits are good, and the cakes presentable, however, the service and speed needs some tuning. We ordered two coffees and a couple of biscuits to eat in, and the cafe then proceeded to ignore the order and make another 8 take away coffees before our own. After prompting them, the coffees came out after 20 minutes or so. One was spilled over. And this was a weekday. The coffees were OK, although a little on the watery side. Would have to think about ordering eat in again.

It's a small kiosk in rhodes but they have best petite cakes everything I bought from them tasted like top class bakery.

The lady who served me was polite and professional, the coffee was spot on…. But all let down by a very ordinary apple turnover. Clearly several days old, the apple still fridge cold, the pasty had lost its fresh flaky puff. Any decent baker sells their day old stuff at least at half price. This had to be a few days old! I understand some cakes can be refrigerated for several days…. A puff pasty apple turnover surely must be cooked on the day!

Excellent customer service! The ladies there were super kind and professional. My coffee was perfect and the cannolis were divine! Will definitely be going back!

I've been to Pasticceria Caruso many times to pick up cakes over the years and they've always been decent. However, I recently ordered two coffees and a cake but the order was noted incorrectly. Instead of two lattes I was given two caps. When I corrected the error, the woman who took my order quite rudely told me that I said cappuccinos and rolled her eyes. I only ever drink lattes so there is no way I would have ordered the wrong coffee! She then walked to the back area of the store and gave one of the cappuccinos to another employee. She was clearly whinging about me as they started grinning and looking at me. In my opinion, all she had to do was own the mistake, apologise and move on. The coffees tasted a bit watered down, though the girl making the coffees was nice enough. Probably won't be returning again even if the cakes are quite nice.

For full review including photos, go to Weekend Food EscapesOverall, I had a nice time at Pasticceria Caruso. It's a casual cafe in the Rhodes Shopping Centre. Their Italian sweets, cannoli bazookas and their cakes are definitely the highlight. Stop by and indulge your sweet tooth.
