Mount Noorat lookout
A volcano crater to hike around in about an hour. Wow!It is a bit of a mountain climb. Some steep slopes to truge up. But it is a gorgeous view all around when you get to the top. And it's a volcano crater! You have to see that.

Mount Noorat lookout
You can’t drive all the way to the top, so ignore google maps when it tries to take you through some grand gates up a driveway off Glenormiston Rd. Instead, turn down Morack St and park at the base of Alan Marshall Memorial Walking Track, and walk from there.For those with moderate fitness, it’s a steepish walk 500m up a gravel path to the first lookout, which has amazing views into the central crater of Mount Noorat. It’s a further 500m up an even steeper grassy track along a paddock fence to reach the top lookout. But well worth the effort to reach the top and see spectacular 360° views of the volcanic cones and plains of the area.
