Store layout was convenient and not too compact although customer service was appalling. I was served by a young blonde lady and she didn’t talk to me at all as well as giving me a very nasty stare. Honestly disappointed as servers should be polite and at least greet or smile at customers especially when I was very kind and tried starting conversation. I will not be coming back here, at least until that lady gets fired.

Good shop but prices seem to rise on anything popular. Some prices are very high compared to other shops. Update 1 yr on. Prices have become more creditable. Seem to have more savings and discounts. Which is great to see as you would here IGA sales in tv but not in smaller shops. But that has changed for the better. The staff have always been very helpful. That is why I’ve continued to use the store. So I have bumped it another star. Good going for the locals.

For a small supermarket, it has a good range. The service used to be friendly. Today I had an unpleasant experience.The deli staff were more focused on their other tasks than serving. There were about 4 others waiting.The checkout woman who served me had her mask *under* her nose!!!! And, she gossiped while I paid by card, leaving my groceries on the counter to be packed by myself while others were waiting in the queue.I was wearing a mask so my facial expressions were hidden. I was smiling when I asked if I had to pack my own. She turned her back on me!!In future, I will go the extra distance to a big supermarket up the road.

The staff are extremely friendly. The prices are expensive though which I guess is to be expected from a corner store and not the big guys (also I know that retail rent in Pottsville is pretty steep - not that I know if they are renting or not). We go there for the little things but I would not dream of doing a full shop here.
