I chose HCB Solar to install a solar system on my house, for the following reasons:• HCB Solar and their parent company are proud Novocastrians, who have been around since the 1940s. They’re not going to disappear before your warranty expires!• Their sales representative was very helpful and was able to offer sound advice on the various products they sell and answered all my questions. I was very impressed with their online quoting tools and was blown away to have the quote in my email inbox before he left site!• HCB’s Installation Technicians arrived on time and were very courteous. Their work is very neat and professional, the worksite was left clean and tidy when they had finished. They took all the packing material/rubbish away with them. Once the installation was complete, I was given a run through of the system and the online monitoring.I highly recommend HCB Solar, they may not be the cheapest, but if you want a good quality system, backed with long warranty and support, then they’re company to use!

We bought a house with an existing HCB Solar installation and they have been extremely helpful. They are very quick to respond and happy to work through issues.

HCB installed a 6.6KW Solar System of 18 Roof Panels and a Q Cell Inverter and Battery in Garage. HCB provide a great service including system selection and very prompt answers to all questions, before during and after install. The install was very well done and set to work. After months of searching around for a reputable solar installer with appropriate prices, we've decided to go with HCB solar and have never regretted since. It is our first solar installation and they guided us from the start to the finish. They were upfront about the prices and the products that they use rather than some dodgy companies that overcharges for cheap items. The sparky team did a good job. They arrived on time, worked professionally and tidied up real well after. I can't fault any aspects of HCB solar and the sparky team from initial consultation to installation.

HCB installed solar panels and a battery for us. They worked with us to configure the system and finalise the quote. They were busy at the time so it took them a while to get on site but they turned up when they said would. All the staff, both on site and in the office were great to deal with. They came back and worked with the panel and battery supplier to resolve a minor problem. The system is now running beautifully. And they are a local Hunter business.

After HCB installed our 7.9kw system with battery a few years ago, our inverter decided to stop working (permanently). HCB had it ordered from the supplier and reinstalled quicker than I expected. Very happy with this company!

Yang and his team were very responsive and helpful in the installation of solar on my tiny house on wheels. I needed a system I could rely on for travelling off grid. They listened to my needs and adapted the plan to suit the house along the way. Very easy to communicate with. Thanks
