Peaceful, quiet lovely well maintained spot next to the creek. Grassed area with swing set for the kids to play with undercover picnic tables nearby for adults to supervise. Clean toilets. There are six shower booths. Two $1 coins give you a four minute hot shower. Water fill up and dump spot

This is for the Babinda Creek rest area. Think that may be a different place to Babinda Creek but it is near by. This rest area is a short walk from the Babinda town centre and the awesome, must visit, @Boulders Tavern. Really nice rest area with toilets, showers, bins, dump point and lovely green grassy areas with plenty of room. A very popular place with the locals and a beautiful crystal clear river to swim and kayak on. Make sure you kayak to the right, up stream as it is safe to go for a couple of hours that way. If you go left and down stream there is a 3m salt water crocodile a bit further down the river but he stays away from the camp ground and it is totally safe to swim there.

Great rest area for one night. You can take a shower for 2 $ = 4 minutes hot water, otherwise there is only cold water in the showers. The showers are super clean, toilets are relatively clean and there is a dump point. The rest area has a lot of space, you can stay in any case with a caravan or even with the motor home without problems. Furthermore, he is a bit off the street, so you have a super quiet night and can sleep well. Of course, there is unfortunately no WiFi but a nice environment. We can only recommend it to anyone who is in transit.
