Possum Park

Just had two great nights at Possum Park in a cabin and shared the adventure with some friends.. An outstanding and interesting hideaway for some peace and quiet. A remarkable history to this former WW11 ammunition depot. The owners Julie and Dave have done some amazing work to the place. Highly recommend. Fran & Howard

Great service David an Julie are very helpful and cheerful as well great views nice an quite (just what you like) nice an clean park an toilets ,showers great display of army , helicopter display worth a few nights .Please give them time to answer the phone as well very friendly people.The plane is something specialT

I still vividly remember staying in the underground bunker Possum Place" with my family back in July 2000

Wonderful memories from the fire pit and stories shared , to the easy bush walk, the abundant Australian wild life and birds. Safe for everyone. Very interesting collection of trains, where you can stay in your own carriage. Star watching paradise.

Still one of my most favourite places to stay. Limited phone reception makes for a great way to connect with the family without distractions. The owners, David and Julie, are two of the most genuine people you will ever meet. Make sure to catch up around the fire at the end of the day.

What a gem this place is. Lots of different style accommodation. Van parking, cabins bunkers yes bunkers and there's a story to be told about them on your tour about the place. An aeroplane sits in its hanger awaiting the final refurbishments to be yet another accommodation, the railway carriages is another. Walk the 3.2 km around the track to see all the bunkers built into the hills, check out the camp area camp kitchen b.b.que facility well appointed amenities there's even a bush chapel surrounded by beautiful gardens and bush flora and fauna it provides a welcome retreat from the highways and a busy life. Julie and David have done a fantastic job in creating this lovely bush haven for all to share. Site fees for our van with power and water a very modest 25.00 a night
