Comfort Apartments Royal Gardens
Really good affordable place to stay near all the hipster spots in the north. Place has an older early 2000s interiors vibe but it's very clean and well maintained. The staff are super helpful even after hours. The room we stayed in hasn't got a smart TV however but does have a DVD player and they even have a little DVD library at reception which was pretty fun throwback.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with an extra person on the fold out lounge. The staff were just excellent. Very helpful and flexible. The room was comfortable and the garden facilities fantastic for a Christmas family BBQ around the pool. This will be my new base whenever I come to Melbourne.

My little unit had everything I needed for av two night stay. Trish helped with an early checkin which made a massive difference as I had a busy weekend planned socialising and was able to settle in and have a restafter an early morning flight. The rooms were clean and the well equipped kitchen was perfect. I will definitely be booking another visitsoon

Such a great location and the apartment was very clean and efficiently organized! I loved the skylights, they made it feel so bright and cheery! The staff went above and beyond the call of duty when my stepmom lost her wallet on the beach and someone turned it in to the police in Victoria. By the time we got word, it was too late to drive to Victoria, and they offered to pick it up for us! Fortunately we were able to get them to forward the wallet to our new location, but we haven't forgotten the kind offer of help.

Very friendly reception staff, checking in after hours was easy and friendly on-site manager couldn't be more helpful. Unit was exceptionally clean with everything you need. Walking distance to the city, great restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay again. Excellent rates.

Great place to stay, was handy having kitchen and washing machine and dryer. Only thing I would say was would of been handy to have a oven dish. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Melbourne. Staff were absolutely amazing
