The food was great, service was good. Great place to come and get your fish and chips, then sit down either inside or outside and enjoy your meal. Heaps of seating on the foreshore to eat.

What wonderfully fresh seafood. Called in here at the recommendation of a friend and it was well worth it. Good service, nice sized pieces of fish and a good serve of chips. All at a reasonable price. Next I’m in the area, I will be back.

True to the other reviews I read that inspired this little detour, the fish and chips are really very good. Loved it. We had the fisherman's basket with extra flakes and calamari and it was delicious. Highly recommended!!

This gem is really worth a visit for your longed-for fish and chips meal! We enjoyed some ling, sea scallops and a pineapple fritter. All nice and lightly battered. Reasonably priced. Good, prompt service. You can enjoy your nibbles inside (we had to get out of today's windy conditions!) or on the grassy foreshore. It's a very pretty spot for a visit.

We had a table of 10 last night and everyone was please with their food. Very nice flat head tails, gummy shark and fish taco. Really fresh fish, good batter. The small serve of chips is huge for 2. The place is a bit noisy inside. Did not take long to come. Very friendly service. Overall excellent value!

Sat out the back with my dogs where it was sheltered and quiet. Had a lovely chai latte and a homemade cookie. They have more on offer than fish and chips.

A simple fish and chips meal, one piece of gummy shark battered which was good, another pieced grilled, it was dry, over cooked and cooked on a hot plate that had not been scraped clean.Chips were excellent.

Was here with my partner and my dad just a few weeks back. We all agreed it raised the bar as far as fish n chips are concerned. Best all 3 of us had ever had. Clean oil by the looks as everything fried was light and crisp, no stodge whatsoever. Potato cakes were exceptional, fish was fresh… Batter was crisp, thin and fried to perfection in what must be quality & clean oil. Beautiful views complement an outstanding chip shop experience. 6/5.

Well I do love a good feed of fish and chips, it's always been a go to snack on a wet windy Vicorian day. The setting at Port Albert adds to the overall experience which was pretty dam good the fish was fresh and well cooked not dry like some thong that's been walked to death over the past summer, would have loved some old style hand cut chips to accompany the yummy fish but sadly that was not to be.The staff were super nice and more than happy to through the options available.If your in the area grab some goodness and sit and enjoy a magical part of Gippsland.
