NOTE REVIEW EDITED....Originally I gave a 5 star rating to this small locally owned and operated business. I spent over a grand of my own savings to stay here. When I ran out of funds and needed the help of the NSW Department, their attitude changed and I was easy money from the Government for them and they treated me accordingly. i got put in the front room where the noise from traffic was ever present and loud and kept me from getting any type of restful sleep. The last morning I had a knock on my door at approximately 9am wondering why I hadn't checked out yet as all the other guests had. Checkout is 10am and i was cleaning the room to my standard and felt that either way I had paid for the room until checkout, even if the government was paying. To finish off, I was over the constant questioning about my next place to live, even though I was winging it and just trying to get a roof over my head during the most expensive and untenable time to be homeless. I found a little place of sanctuary for myself and cockatiel. The only reason I kept staying there was due to the fact they let me have my little feathered companion with me...

What a Beautiful place to stay.The river views Amazing.Greeted at reception by the Lovely Kerry.A beautiful comfortable room Graet water pressure.I highly recommend the Tweed River Motel

Tweed River Motel
The guests next door were loud and noisy even past 10pm. They left at around 11 and came back and made more noise. We didn't know if management was awake at around that time to make a complaint. First time renting a hotel room. The guests next door even banged on the wall when they were leaving.My partner and I agree the room was OK except for the heater. When we put it on warm stuff came out of the heater portion of the air conditioner and admitted a strange smell. And we were not given any milk on arrival like it says in the guest information book.

Absolutely fine for somewhere to lay your head.The carpark was pretty noisy throughout the night. Not sure of that usual but there was a lot of coming and going.Called direct to book so a 3rd party company would'nt get a % of the & was given a good rate over the phone by a lovely Friendly lady.Upon arrival cost was $20 more so there was obviously no communication between booking and what has been quoted as a price.Room size was decent. Has a tiny TV which barely worked.Overall it's fine if you just need somewhere to lay your head and if you don't wake up to car noises and people outside the windows.

Great river views and and quiet. Dog friendly ,but here were a little restricted by not being allowed to sit with owners out front of the rooms. We missed dinner as restuarant as it closes at 8.30pm . Room not well stocked . No milk. Bathroom had only 2 small soaps.

Tweed River Motel
Stayed at this motel with a large group (15 rooms) and the staff could not have been more helpful. Used the BBQ's and the rooms were great-great price too. We all enjoyed ourselves so much will return next year. Highly recommend. A few months later came back and stayed with my two dogs in the room, just fantastic.

Tweed River Motel
Myself and my family would like to say thank you to Bob and his wife for helping us in such a horrible situation for our family. We enjoyed our stay loved the view and the room was more then enough room for all 5 of us! We miss feeding the ducks and watching the fish and watching the lizards running around! Kids miss interacting with the dogs that visited while we were there! And your free breakfast in the mornings! Lovely place to stay see you again!

The building itself is old but has nice fresh paint, i stayed in room 12 and it had obviously been renovated, nice floor tiles and new looking bathroom and kitchen. I specially loved the wall tiles in bathroom.The lady that runs the place is super nice, the bbq is in good working order, undercover and you get the river view while bbqing.
