A great Japanese grocery store combined with sushi place!We found about this place when we walked past on Smith St.Some of the products are definitely cheaper than other Asian grocery stores.The staff area really friendly and you can get the common Japanese products here.Wool come back next time to try their sushi.

Freshly made sushi and sashimi for takeaway only. Also has other Japanese pantry items for sale.Suggest pre-order online or phone (if can get through). Otherwise may have wait times up to 2hrs for walk in orders

Such an amazing place to have in the heart of Fitzroy; the sushi is impeccable and melts in your mouth, and the store itself has a whole range of ingredients and products perfect for your pantry. It’s only downside is the wait for the sushi, which can be up to an hour, but it’s both understandable and worth it. I love this place with all my heart!

The greatest of all time. Do yourself a favour and order a number 46 from their menu. It will blow your mind and change your life. SO fresh! consistently tasty sushi. Hinoki Pantry does it best!!!

Beautiful sushi and sashimi fr Hinoki. Placed my order online and it was efficient and very affordable. Satisfied with the quality of food here and the grocery store stocks a massive selection of Japanese food which is cheap!Would definitely recommend this place.

Hinoki Japanese Pantry
This is a very authentic and very hip Japanese pantry store. They also have very good quality fresh sushi platter takeouts. Couldn't believe how many people came to this store and it was packed. The quality of the products are excellent, authentic Japanese. Highly recommended and would come back again for the Sushi!!!
