Megalong Valley Farm

Nature, food, animals... just wonderful. People, even more. Great customer service. The owner and the people working in this amazing place are gentle, respectful, caring, wonderful human being. The experience was perfect: foggy morning, hot breakfast, horse riding in the forest, gnammy bbq lunch, cosy accommodation, chilled afternoon. I recommend this gateway to everyone, especially to the one living and working in the City: run away from that hell and go spoil yourself in this paradise!

Great culture. Sweet farm, owner and workers. Had a lovely relaxing and beautiful ride of 2 hours and the Cider and Cheese platter. Everyone made for good conversation and the animals for loving hugs.Note: don't bother emailing ~ give them a call

We had a wonderful time camping here over the Queens birthday long weekend.Plenty of space for our group and still accessible to the amenity block. There are 3 toilets and 3 showers available for each gender. So expect queues if it's a busy period. No power is available with limited clean water available. Bring your drinking water as the water supplied is brown and has floaters.Great Campsite, but be wary of all the animal droppings as the horses wander around camp and do their business.Suitable for all vehicles, but just be careful as the road from the entrance to campsites are dirt roads which can get quite rough and bumpy.Winter camping can be very cold so be prepared for some frosty mornings.

Great camping spot with beautiful views of the Blue Mountains.Good amenities.Horses grazing around you makes for a peaceful atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Nice campground with stunning sunset views. A lot of space with many fire pits.Hot shower and toilets which can be far but everyone takes his car to go to the bathroom so if you decide to set up close to the facilities you will be annoyed by all the back and forth of vehicles.It is written Drinkable water but the water was very brownish.

Great valley with lovely views. Big area where you can park your van and watch the cargaroos, horses and birds.We pay 25 per person and you can have hot showers, toilets and if you need a kitchen with fridge. Awesome place.

Rude and unhelpful.We booked 3 days in advance but didn't receive a proper confirmation, I called to confirm but the phone was never answered.We drove 3 hours from Sydney to be told that our booking had not been processed and they were fully booked now. We were left with nowhere to stay and they didn't have the courtesy to let us stay for a night.Completely ruined our weekend, would have been easier to remove availability, reject the booking or answer the phone so we would not have driven there!

It's great. The bathroom is clean, separate for men and women. There is a beautiful view. And the receptionist is very friendly.

Beautiful location in the heart of the Megalong Valley. Good facilities and gorgeous camp site.Unfortunately the hosts had to deal with some obnoxious visitors who arrived at midnight, chopped wood and played loud music all night disrupting the rest of the camp. The host handled it well with the backing of the rest of the camp site. It’s a shame some people feel entitled to ruin things for the rest of the group.The group didn’t even have a booking, they felt entitled to trespass on the property.
