Heidelberg

Train stations are hard to review, because most people are forced to go there on their way to somewhere else. The staff here are friendly and helpful, and the station is convenient to the Austin/Mercy hospitals, and the Heidelberg bus interchange.The little coffee booth adjacent to Platform 1 is open weekday mornings, and sometimes for special events on weekends and public holidays - they sell coffee, newspapers and a small range of light snacks.

The concrete walk way up to the train station is a bit ridiculous. I can see disabled people, the elderly and the sick have a hard time getting up and down there considering there is a hospital (The Austin) literally across the road.It is not in a very good or safe area. It definitely doesn’t feel safe at night time.But the station is clean. Once in the station, it’s easy to navigate. You can usually always get a seat. There is a free car park that is usually full by 7am. It’s apart of Heidelberg CBD so you can walk from the station to get your business done without walking very far. There are plenty of buses that go to and from the staff from early in the morning to late at night.Try not to be there by yourself at night time.

Very busy suburban station directly across the road from the Austin Hospital. On site staff, toilets, covered areas for seating, video cameras and staff for security. Easy access ramps on both sides via an underground tunnel. There is onsite parking, but it's very limited and almost impossible to find a spot unless it's extremely early, late or a weekend. Street parking nearby is limited to 2 hours max and mostly pay by the hour.

Unprofessional, Rude customer service from Heidelberg station. We are from Sydney. Unable to find how Myki works from Transport websites Victoria. Before and while I am purchasing tickets I asked the serving person a few simple questions regarding the Myki card (Mainly do they have Day tickets" we can purchase and we are leaving the next day how much we have to put into a card). This guy did not say a word. After issuing cards my wife said we are from Sydney. I grabbed her and moved away. Very rude and unpleasant man who ,when asked when the next train was didn’t look up muttered under his breath and then shouted at me when I asked him to repeat that . Works under a sign saying customer service - em I think not

In terms of what I could do here, it was much more than what I could do at Rosanna in terms of stuff relating to my Myki card. However Rosanna did get a nice makeover and I think this station needs one too.

Lovely brick façade, & express trains from the city stop here. Everything is accessible by ramps (there are no stairs); however, the inclines are a bit steep. There is a small but tasty café, ample parking, bus route connections, vending machines, & the station is staffed so you can get help & purchase V-Line tickets. Interestingly, there is a historical example of a semaphore signal (first installed at the station in 1912) which can be seen from Platform 1. A downside is that the green spaces next to the sidewalks look unkempt & often have litter on them.

Very busy station with friendly professional staff

Parked here to commute to city on 2nd January and my car got vandalised. Screw placed right into my tire. Won't Park here again. Not safe and not worth it.

nice area very good location next to the hospital just need to upgraded and i believe that Heidelberg will more interested places to live and move expensive witches for the home owners
