Calvary St John's Hospital

The only thing I can fault is the fact that there is not the option to rate this practice, along with Dr Yee, a TEN out of FIVE.I first met Dr Yee, around 10 years ago, when I was an emergency patient at the Royal. I had acute liver failure along with glandular fever so I was not in a good place. Enter Dr Yee. The moment he walked into the room there was such a positive aura of energy around him like I have never experienced. It was then I knew that there was no better person to get me back on track. I spent a week in hospital and every single day Dr Yee would visit just to check on how I was going and to update me on my condition(s). Although I consider Dr Yee the most knowledgeable person I have ever met, I am positive that it was also his positivity and energy that helped me get better.A few years later I needed to see a gastro specialist and my GP referred me to none other that Dr Yee. Straight away I felt at ease and a calmness surrounded me. I get to my appointment and Dr Yee was exactly as I had remembered him. I have been an ongoing patient now for around 5 years and each time I meet up with Dr Yee I can't help but leave the practice with a smile. I mean how is it possible for someone that has, what a normal person would consider, such a stressful profession be so good at making people feel at ease. Yes, there will be those that will be quick to comment oh he does it for the money" and it is those people who suffer from tall poppy syndrome because Dr Yee has passion.I also have to commend the practice staff as they also share Dr Yee's energy and I enjoy the random banter every time I see them. To say that the practice staff go above and beyond is an understatement. I have always found the rooms to be exceptionally presented and nothing seems to be too hard if you have any questions.To summarise I feel humbled to have Dr Yee in my camp because his professionalism goes way further than his qualification. I also believe that the practice staff all feed off each other to complete the best overall experience possible.Go Team Yee ......... :)"

Nice and clean once you enter the building. We had to check in and wear masks on our last visit. Have never been able to get a carpark at the actual premises so I have parked at the back of the Cascade hotel which is directly beside the hospital.

Luckily, I was referred here from the Royal and I couldn’t be happier. The doctors, nurses and all the staff are really caring and the facilities are clean and treated like a hotel.It’s like I just had a vacation.

I Have recently had quite a big surgery here with Dr timothy hasted and his team.I have never in my life felt at ease and so cared for the hole team were amazing on every level possible.The after care was above and beyond by all staff and was seen daily by my surgeon Dr hasted not something you get else where.I can't recommend the whole team enough

Just had surgery for SCC on lower lip. Staff fantastic especially nurse Hannah who displayed very professional attention to my recovery and care. Thanks to everyone involved. Service great just a shame the medication delivery is not up to the same level of service. Feeling terrible as I have just been informed there is only 1 chemist on duty so well done afterall ..... maybe another chemist would help with the workload inspired delay. Anyway fantastic service so thankyou everyone.

I went to day surgery at the St John's campus and could not fault the staff at all.They were so welcoming and caring and even when there were a few hiccups (I had complications) after the procedure the staff were wonderful. I wish I could thank each of them personally

My recent visit as a patient at St john's for Spinal surgery was outstanding for care , compassion and above and beyond nursing and Medical care St John's has a special quality of nursing staff During my difficult time Nursing staff Crystia, Ash, Soniya ,Lisa,Peta, and junior Nurse Heather you were all amazing, cleaners , kitchen staff and especially Mr Anvell Dubey Neurosurgeon The Ward Doctor and Physio staff thank you so much

I had a foot op in day surgery yesterday. I wish to thank the medical staff from theatre staff to nurses and everyone else involved. They were all so kind and caring. The room was clean and spacious. Couldn't have been cared for better by all the nurses I had. They were all so positive, helpful and caring and went above and beyond to care for me.
