Tarrawanna Fish Shop
The fish was cooked lovely and for the price we were impressed. However, asked for chicken salt on the chips and we got a streak over the top of all the food. Chips quite soggy and salt less. Whilst eating the fish we bit into bones but then found the whole rib cage was still in tact through both pieces. We even got a bit of fin to go with it.

Hands down best fish and chips and burgers in town. Great quality fish and always fresh and flakey with proper hand cut fresh chips, not frozen!! Burgers are the old school traditional style, packed full of goodness but my favourite is definitely the newest addition, the Portuguese chicken burger…absolutely amazing!! This place is always always super busy which tells you something, and they are definitely standing the test of time, established in 1986!!!They are also amazing for catering, highly highly recommend their scallops, fish cocktails, prawn cutlets, calamari and spring rolls. The entire menu is the bomb!

I was down at fairy meadow from south west Sydney and wanted some lunch. Googled best fish and chips and Tarrawanna Fish Shop came up and boy it didn't disappoint. Had the classic burger combo for $14. Burger was great nice toasted bun well seasoned patty and salad. It was refreshing to be served hand cut chips they were perfectly cooked and filling.Friendly service from the staff.Highly recommend and will definitely be back again

This is how I remember Fish and Chips being when I was a kid. A generous serving of Chips and a great piece of crumbed fish with a slice of lemon. Bravo to the family running it. I will make it a mission of mine to have lunch there again.

These chips are fresh hand cut not frozen and so you get a delightful variety from thin and crunchy to fat and pillowy chips. Really good food.
