Easy going, very friendly and knowledgeable

Firstly the car I purchased from them was sold from under me and they could not offer any replacement or solution , I had to purchase one from Brisbane instead of buying local as I always prefer , secondly I took it in and purchased a nudge bar and rear cover , this went very well will say , the parts consultant was excellent!!! but when I was there I though I would ask about my windscreen wipers playing up as they just started to constantly wipe the screen literally as I drove it to the dealership that morning , the young service consultant didn’t want to lift a finger to assist and said immediately “you will need to book it in” , I said it could be something g triggering it like a bug or something and asked if the mechanic could have a quick look and to please show me where the auto rain sensors are on the car in case there is dirt or something covering it , she huffed and said they are all on lunch and if I want it fixed it needs to be booked in , as I was paying for the accessories I purchased through them ( buying local ) the eftpos machine was playing up so it took about 10 minutes to sort , by then the mechanics returned from lunch and I pointed out that perhaps they can now please have a quick look , well omg … she got up stroppy and reluctant and went and got the mechanic manager , he was very quick to identify a bug smeared across the rain sensor on the front of the windshield and he wipes it off and fixed my issue immediately. ( he was excellent also ) Turns out I was correct and the service consultant that wasn’t interested in good customer service was butt hurt that what I’d suggested was actually the problem. It really felt like pulling teeth to get service and cooperation . Was pretty awkward to say the least .Now I’ve since asked about the first service interval and cost and was told it will be $498 by the same butt hurt service consultant, a quick and fuss free call to LDV in Gladstone has it at $432 for exactly the same service provided ! Backed up via email confirmation. How disappointing it is that we in Rockhampton are charged at a premium if we want to buy local and support local when the next city down the road 100km away they enjoy same service levels at a better price ???? Oh and was very pleasant experience to deal with at Anderson’s LDV . Why would you want to part with an extra $66 for same job done to a service consultant that gives you attitude?!?!Go figure ?!?!
