Ray Coffey Drawing Classes

Not only is Ray an incredible artist but he is also a great teacher with a knack for making everyone feel relaxed while sharing valuable tips on technique and materials with his relaxed demeanour and excellent sense of humour. I learned so much from Ray in 6 weeks about a medium I’d had very little experience with - and achieved fantastic results well above and beyond what I expected. I cannot recommend Ray Coffey Drawing Classes highly enough. Top guy, great class. I will definitely be back to learn more.

I haven’t done anything remotely arty since it was compulsory in High School. You'll be amazed with what you can produce in just six weeks!Ray takes a personal approach with all of his students, and his home studio is a wonderful setting for a few relaxing hours at the drawing board. He has a great knack for explaining advanced art techniques in an easy-to-understand manner.No one is left behind, and every student is guaranteed to walk away with a drawing they're proud of. A really enjoyable experience!Highly recommended, especially for people with little-to-no art experience!

Ray is a passionate teacher with extensive experience and knows how to pass this experience on to his students. You can achieve more than you think under his watchful eye.I've done this skull without any prior experience with charcoal in 5 weeks.

Just completed the 6 week charcoal course with Ray. It was a great experience and walked away with some art that I thought I would never be able to achieve. I haven't done art since high school and I wasn't a natural but Ray was patient and explained things clearly without making me feel stupid. Thanks Ray! I highly recommend :)
