Sam is a legend! He made it really easy from the moment we enquired about his services to the day we got our photos. On top of his amazing craft, one of the best things about Sam is that he's so easy to hang out with. With Sam, we didn't feel nervous about having a camera being pointed at us, which meant that our big day was super relaxed and chilled. And the photos themselves are amazing! I have been a bridesmaid 4 times so have been familiar with wedding photographers - their manners, the quality of the work, and the resulting photos - and I am absolutely stoked with Sam's. Prior to our wedding, he was quick in responding to emails - even had a notebook with all the points we'd asked for! On the day, he was punctual - and honestly didn't even remember seeing him at the ceremony, so he was well positioned without impacting at all. He had sussed out the location beforehand and had several amazing locations for us to have photos at - one less thing for us to worry about! From day one, Sam made both myself and Simon feel so comfortable.We planned our date, hoping Sam was free and he was!!! We were so excited. We had our beautiful sunset engagement shoot on Susan Gilmore beach and were amazed at the incredible photos! From the minute we met Sam, we knew we wanted him to be our photographer. He made the whole process so effortless and when the big day came, it just felt like we were hanging out with one of our mates. There was no forced posing, no awkwardness, no stock-standard pics – there was just love, fun, a heap of tears and every emotion in-between, which Sam captured perfectly on the day. Most of the time we didn’t even realise he was taking photos. The fact that he managed to find a windproof, sunny spot during a cyclonic polar freeze still amazes me to this day. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this legend of a photographer to anyone looking for someone to take epic pics of their wedding.

Samuel Jacob, was our wedding photographer in February 2018 in the Blue Mountains. We could not have asked for a better photographer! On the day he was like a fly on the wall, he captured the natural moments but also directed us to the positions that were just magical to capture.
